A simple n’s shirt, through her little adjustnts, looked anything but stiff. It was loose and casual, yet stylish, and it looked beautiful on her.
The oversized coat was casually draped over her shoulders, giving her a cool and dashing appearance, as if she were a bandit king sitting there with an air of dominance.
Pedro Langley’s eyes lit up.
"Your turn, hurry up." As soon as Nora Scott sat down, she began to urge him.
"Here you go."
Pedro Langley leisurely handed over the freshly peeled apple.
Nora Scott grabbed it and took a bite. Seeing him still lounging around, she shot him a warning look to hurry him up.
After giving her another up-and-down look, Pedro finally withdrew his gaze, got up, and took his clothes to shower.

It didn’t take Pedro Langley long to take a shower, roughly ten minutes, before he stepped out of the bathroom.
Yet, when he glanced around the suite, he didn’t see any sign of Nora Scott at first glance.
Stunned for a mont, Pedro Langley finally relaxed when he noticed the corner of a blanket peeking out from the sofa, letting out a quiet sigh of relief.
He walked closer, saw Nora Scott lying sideways on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket, with a black coat folded over a cushion behind her head. Her left arm was cradling another cushion in front of her chest, and most of her face was hidden behind it, likely using it to shield her eyes from the light.
Her hair spilled onto the clothes, not yet dry, with droplets trickling from the ends, soaking a large patch of fabric.
Looking down at the hairdryer in his hand, Pedro Langley walked over, plugged it into a nearby outlet, and then slowly sat down on the sofa armrest.
"Tired?"
With one hand holding the hair dryer, his other hand gently combed through her slightly damp and tousled hair.
"A little." Nora Scott shifted, pulling the pillow down a bit, not opening her eyes, her voice filled with weariness, "Are you done showering?"
"Mm."
Pedro responded, his hand lightly touching her forehead. The temperature felt normal—no fever.
He felt slightly reassured.
Nora Scott squinted slightly, speaking as she started to sit up, "Then let’s eat."
Pedro’s hand pressed down on her shoulder and said, "Dry your hair first."
"Oh."
With that in mind, Nora leaned on her elbow to half-rise, pulling away the pillow and clothes from under her head to make room for Pedro Langley.
Precious as ever, she was always thoughtful.
Seeing her like this, Pedro let out a soft chuckle and sat down in the space she made for him.
Nora Scott soon lay down with her head resting on his leg. Perhaps feeling a bit uncomfortable, she squird to find a comfortable position.
For a mont, Pedro’s heart jumped into his throat. He looked down to see her peaceful, closed-eyed expression, and that restless fire was forcefully subdued.
With a push of a button, the hair dryer roared to life, blowing warm air, causing her hair to flutter.
Nineteen-year-old Nora Scott had waist-length hair—smooth, beautiful, soft to the touch, never frizzy. Truly stunning. However, she disliked blow-drying her hair and would let it air-dry, taking ages to dry. Whenever Pedro Langley ntioned it, she would always throw the hairdryer at him—
’If you can’t stand it, you do it.’
Pedro Langley couldn’t help but comply.
After all, she was a Heavenly Immortal, worthy of being spoiled.
When srized by her, even if she asked for the stars in the sky, he would agree without hesitation.

When her hair was half-dry, Pedro Langley changed the wind setting, reducing the noise around them.
Nora Scott squinted comfortably. She spoke slowly, "Pedro Langley, actually, you got the short end of the stick."
Her voice was sowhat muffled by the dryer’s noise, but it didn’t stop Pedro Langley from hearing her clearly.
Pedro raised an eyebrow.
He thought Nora Scott was going to say sothing self-effacing about being lazy or having a bad temper, ready to remark, "No need for that." But unexpectedly, Nora lazily continued on her own—
"I originally wanted to confess to you last ti at the barbecue place."
The sudden revelation left Pedro Langley montarily stunned.
Confession?
She... wanted to confess?
Her beautiful, slender fingers lifted, letting the cold, white light through her fingertips onto her face. Nora Scott squinted, clicked her tongue, and said, "Why is your mouth so rude?"
"..."
Pedro Langley was amused and exasperated by her put-on regretful tone.
"This ti doesn’t really count as formal." Pedro said as he tended to her drying and soft hair, "You can still find a proper opportunity, and I’ll try my best to cooperate with you."
Nora Scott tilted her gaze, eyeing him coldly, "Gave you the capital to open a dye factory, huh?"
