"We’ve got a lead on the people who targeted Miguel Smith and Henry Chapman," Humphrey Jennings said. "Also, we’ve made so other discoveries."
His voice was clear and calm, coming through the phone with perfect clarity.
However, Nora Scott couldn’t help but be taken aback.
A lead?
They had given up hope before, but suddenly, there was an unexpected turn of events, bringing unexpected joy.
"Chapman."
Nora arched an eyebrow and called to the person studying the script beside her.
Henry Chapman looked over, puzzled.
She put the call on speakerphone and placed the phone on the coffee table.
She said, "Go ahead."
Humphrey Jennings said, "They were indeed planning to run. Several of them went out of province. Based on the extracted clues, our people have arrested a batch of them. Today, the people from Virtue Retreat unexpectedly caught one in Fenton City, and he happened to be one of the people who targeted Henry Chapman five years ago."
Nora raised an eyebrow and glanced at Henry Chapman.
Henry t her gaze.
Clearly, Henry leaned in closer, his expression becoming graver and more serious.
Nora squinted slightly and asked coolly, "Are you sure?"
"We are."
Humphrey Jennings confird with certainty.
At this mont, Benjamin Durant, who had just finished his ga, ca over and volunteered, "Humphrey’s interrogation skills are no joke. Just a little pressure, and everything ca out. He admitted it himself. Five years ago, near Anchel, he, together with four others, committed a cri on a national highway, robbing an artifact. They even got into a car accident."
After pondering for a mont, Nora said, "Tell the details of the cri."

After the transaction was completed, only the buyer and seller knew about it. Yet, that group clearly targeted the artifact, indicating they knew about it in advance.
This was an organized, planned robbery.
At the ti, the police investigated all the informants, including the seller, a total of six people. But after a thorough investigation, they were all ruled out as suspects.
It wasn’t that the police were negligent; it’s just that the case had hit a dead end with no new clues, which led to it remaining unsolved.
Now that the arrests have been made, this mystery should finally be unraveled.
Humphrey Jennings paused, just about to speak when Benjamin Durant cut him off—
"There’s a sixth person."

He simply handed the phone over to Benjamin Durant, face darkened.
Benjamin Durant nestled into the bean bag chair, cradling the phone, and continued, "This is a long story, so let take my ti."
Five years ago, the security around Anchel wasn’t nearly as good as it is now.
Led by the person caught today, along with four others, they engaged in petty theft around Anchel. Each ti the amount was small, fearing being caught would land them in prison.
However, this kind of work was both dangerous and nerve-wracking. Each ti they took a risk to commit a cri, they only got a little money, and their dissatisfaction grew.
Just then, the sixth person appeared, directly contacting the individual caught today, providing completely reliable information for them to carry out the cris. Upon success, cash would go to them, and the stolen goods to the sixth person, who also promised a huge cash paynt.

"Here’s sothing really funny," Benjamin Durant chuckled as he spoke, "Can you believe he’s a fan of Henry Chapman? Even his phone’s lock screen is Henry Chapman!"

The two looked at each other in disbelief.
People had heard of fans getting arrested for sneaking into concerts to see their idols, but not of a film fan robbing the idol, causing an accident that almost took a life.
Henry Chapman wanted nothing to do with such a fan.
Nora asked calmly, "What about the sixth person?"
"Don’t know for now. Let continue..."
After laughing, Benjamin Durant’s tone turned more serious.
The five only operated around Anchel for about half a year when the sixth person said there were no reliable sources for now, thus canceling their collaboration. However, the individual caught today maintained contact with them and occasionally reached out for a job, offering extrely generous rewards each ti.
