Marcus Shaw was slightly taken aback.
He raised his eyes to look at Nora Scott and saw her gaze fall on a certain spot. Then, she arched an eyebrow and walked straight toward a teenager heading for the door.
Seeing this, Marcus Shaw followed closely behind.
The teenager was about sixteen or seventeen years old. As soon as he reached the exit, he was suddenly grabbed by the collar, pulling him effortlessly backward. He stumbled a few steps.
He turned back in surprise and saw another teenager about the sa age staring at him. The other’s expression was stern, eyebrows tinged with frost, and the sharp, cool gaze gave him a sense of danger, making him feel as if thorns were on his back. A flood of curses that were about to spill out were swallowed back silently.
Marcus Shaw acted before Nora Scott.
— After all, in this mall, there are always those who know Nora Scott. If she made a move, they wouldn’t have to wait until tomorrow; she’d be on the headlines tonight.
"You..." The teenager seed to think of sothing, feeling guilty. He instinctively put his hand on his pocket, then vigilantly stared at Marcus Shaw, "What do you want to do?"
Marcus Shaw looked at him coldly, disinclined to waste words, and said directly, "Give the phone."
"What phone?"
The teenager instinctively shrank his neck. Though he was talking tough, his voice clearly revealed nervousness.
Marcus Shaw was impatient, loosened his hand, and directly reached for his collar.

His wrist was grabbed by another hand.
He looked up coldly but saw Nora Scott’s indifferent expression. His stern look faded, and despite his doubts, he let go of his hand.
With a push of her fingers, the brim of her hat lifted slightly. Nora Scott lowered her gaze and coolly sized up the teenager in front of her.
The teenager, upon seeing her, instinctively swallowed, looking rather dazed.
Marcus Shaw: "..."
Forgot his sister could use her charm.
"Either tell the truth or go to the police station," Nora Scott raised an eyebrow, "Choose one?"
Facing Nora Scott’s visage, the teenager had no intention of arguing further. After hesitating for two seconds, he blushed and took out the phone, handing it to Nora Scott.
"I swear I didn’t steal it, and it was already like this when I got it..."
The teenager was a bit nervous, licking his lips, he explained hesitantly.
Nora Scott received the phone and handed it to Marcus Shaw, asking, "Is it?"
She rely thought the phone looked familiar, suspected it might belong to Oliver Scott, but wasn’t sure.
Marcus Shaw took a look.
The phone’s screen was shattered and was turned off, but the model and case matched Oliver Scott’s — reportedly, the phone case was exclusively customized by Ernesto Scott’s company, specifically used from Nora Scott’s comic work, not yet released, and Oliver Scott had obtained it in advance.
"Yeah."
Marcus Shaw nodded.
Nora Scott asked, "Can it be turned on?"
Marcus Shaw tried and found it wasn’t completely broken; it could be turned on. However, since it had no battery, the screen showed the charging status and then went dark again.
He said, "It’s out of power."
"No wonder."
Nora Scott nodded, her tightly knitted brows relaxed a bit.
If the phone was broken, it couldn’t receive their calls... that was understandable.
But, why was Oliver Scott’s broken phone at the arcade, and Oliver Scott himself was nowhere to be found?
Lifting her chin slightly, Nora Scott asked the teenager, "Where did you get it?"
"It was just on the adjacent machine where I was playing earlier," the teenager straightforwardly confessed, "An hour ago, there was another boy about my age playing there. Then, soone seed to approach him, and he left... Those people didn’t look like good guys, and he never ca back. I finished playing and was about to leave when I found he’d left his phone behind, so I picked it up... Honestly, I thought he didn’t want it since the screen was broken."
