Andrew Hughes was as sensible as ever, eating whatever was given to him without being picky, and obediently finishing the noodles in his bowl.
"Ding-dong—ding-dong—"
The doorbell rang, it was Marcus Shaw, who had arranged to pick up Andrew Hughes.
Crystal Hughes had forgotten about this and only rembered when she saw Marcus Shaw, "Have you had breakfast? I forgot to prepare noodles for you."
"I ate."
Marcus Shaw nodded.
Once Marcus Shaw entered, Crystal Hughes rembered the other young man who had been inseparable from Marcus Shaw lately, "Where’s Scott?"
Marcus Shaw replied, "He had sothing to do, he couldn’t co."
Crystal Hughes nodded and didn’t ask further.
Marcus Shaw was on vacation recently, but because he had to participate in a variety show, he still needed to study cha. Glenn Flynn had even gotten special permission from the school leaders to give him and Oliver Scott the keys to the laboratory.
So, she could leave Andrew Hughes with Marcus Shaw.
Besides, Nora Scott was also filming at the school and had already called her, saying that if she was busy, Andrew Hughes could stay with the crew, and soone would take care of him.
It was also convenient for Crystal Hughes to go to work.
After having breakfast and changing clothes, Crystal Hughes handed Andrew Hughes over to Marcus Shaw with peace of mind and was about to head out.

The avenue was lined with plane trees, lush and flourishing, the trees in the old neighborhood could always block out the sun. Camilo Nogueira stood amidst the shadows of the trees in his white shirt and black pants; the morning sunlight was fractured by the leaves, sprinkling speckles of light. As the wind blew, they shattered on the ground, light and shadow shifting over him.

The wind lifted the hem of her skirt, she opened her mouth, a strand of hair was blown to the front.
Camilo Nogueira had a refined and elegant appearance, his deanor was calm, his voice was low yet powerful, "I told you, I would co to find you today."
"For what?" She was only montarily distracted before Crystal Hughes extended her prickles, "I’m very busy, I have to go to work."
"I got you a leave."
Camilo Nogueira took two steps forward, directly grabbed her arm, pulled her forward, opened the car door simultaneously, and before Crystal Hughes could react, he forced her into the passenger seat.
"Camilo Nogueira—"
Crystal Hughes shouted his na, intending to get out of the car, but Camilo Nogueira suddenly leaned down, virtually pressing down on her, imdiately forcing her back to her seat.
Crystal Hughes’s heart skipped a beat, the alarm bells rang in the next mont.
However, from the corner of her eyes, she glimpsed Camilo Nogueira fastening the seatbelt, bringing it across her. His other hand was braced on the seatback, horizontally in front of her, as he leaned in to fasten her seatbelt.
Crystal Hughes lightly pressed her lips together and suddenly fell silent.
He was right in front of her, his presence was so strong that it was almost tangible, pressing on her, her heart beating powerfully and vigorously in her chest.
And his breath, pervasive and penetrating.
Bit by bit, sinking into her skin.
His scent, clean and brisk, the morning breeze slowly blowing in, ruffling his hair, and then, a lock of loose hair fell on his brow bone. Her gaze followed along, seeing his feature contour, the high nose bridge, the subtle tension at his jawline, flowing and distinct.
They had t several tis, avoiding direct observation, she hadn’t really seen him properly until this few seconds of watching, which made Crystal Hughes’s heart race faster. She bit her lip, inwardly cursing herself for being unsteady.
With a "click," the seatbelt was buckled, Camilo Nogueira straightened up in turn, closing the car door without noticing.
Crystal Hughes paused, quickly fiddled with her hair, letting a strand cover her slightly red ear, as her mind was unsettled, she cast her gaze outside the window.
Camilo Nogueira walked around the front of the car, got back into the driver’s seat, and started the car.
It wasn’t until the car was leaving the neighborhood that Crystal Hughes snapped out of it. She withdrew her gaze rapidly, stole a glance at Camilo Nogueira, her fingers gently tightening around the handbag, and asked, "Where are we going?"
"You’ll know when we get there."
That was Camilo Nogueira’s answer.
Crystal Hughes pursed her lips, surprisingly, she didn’t ask more.
The journey was wordless.
Neither of them broke the silence until Camilo Nogueira parked the car and led Crystal Hughes to a psychological consultation center.
"Why did you bring here?"
As soon as she entered, Crystal Hughes sensed sothing amiss, her face changed dramatically, blood drained from her face, she was full of guarded against Camilo Nogueira.
Crystal Hughes turned to leave.
Camilo Nogueira grabbed her wrist forcefully, pulling her back, "Either listen to and cooperate, or I’ll do a paternity test with Andrew Hughes, then I’ll try fight for Andrew Hughes’s custody."
Stunned, Crystal Hughes looked at him in disbelief.
Her gaze pierced him, causing a pang of pain in his heart. The guesses that ca to Camilo Nogueira’s mind made him gasp for air, so he unconsciously softened his tone, his expression softened with tenderness, gently soothing her emotions, "I don’t want to fight with you, only if you cooperate. Okay?"
