The bet was just a small episode, and after drinking half a bottle of yogurt, Henry Chapman put the matter behind him.
Nora Scott sat idly by, thrown a script by Henry and continued to morize lines. She didn’t have many lines, and she had long since morized them perfectly. After muttering a few sentences, no one knew what she was saying.

Nora needed to capture the essence of the gentle teacher turning dark, displaying her deanor as the ultimate boss, whereas Katherine needs to portray realization, shock, and disbelief, escalating emotions layer by layer.
The setting was a bright and sunny school building, with ample light, yet the performances of the two actors needed to make the audience feel frightened and chills down their spine.
Only two scenes were scheduled for the morning, one being Katherine and Henry’s scene, the other Nora and Katherine’s showdown. The first scene was a warm-up, allowing Henry to guide Katherine, while the second scene was the main event, taking up almost the entire morning.
Nora’s performance was simply astonishing; despite being criticized for her acting, except for the first unsatisfactory attempt, after listening to guidance from Henry and Katherine, her acting soared, vividly displaying the character’s deanor and ntal journey. In contrast, Katherine, who had shown so improvent recently, was noticeably lacking.
It was clear that Katherine had prepared thoroughly beforehand, coupled with an added imrsive quality to her image, but this scene truly tested acting skills. Even after director Alfred Lawrence spent half an hour explaining the scene to her in advance, her performance still fell short of perfection. Initially, her performance was decent, but when contrasted with Nora’s, it was unsatisfactory.
Due to Katherine’s repeated takes, Nora couldn’t consistently enter her state perfectly, and over ti, she too was dragged down by Katherine. Finally, Alfred waved his hand, deciding to wrap up the scene for now, with Nora’s task complete, leaving her parts to be edited in post-production, while Katherine was advised to adjust and reshoot her shots in the afternoon.
"Tsk, so many takes, dragging others down every ti, I wonder if it’s intentional."
Seeing Katherine walking away with a cold face, Rosie Sullivan glanced sideways and deliberately sneered.
