Seeing the end of it, Rosa Sullivan almost crushed her phone.
As the car arrived at the overnight hotel, Rosa stepped out and imdiately felt the staff’s odd glances. She ignored them, acting as if nothing had happened, collected her room card at the front desk, and went up to her room alone, to her personal space.
Once the door closed, the calm deanor Rosa had been forcing herself to maintain faded away slightly. She frowned with a stern face, took out her phone, and at that mont saw Adrian Sullivan calling, which she answered swiftly.
"Bella, I saw online that Julian Linfield admitted he never took a disciple and hinted that you’re not his student. What’s going on?" Adrian Sullivan’s tone was sowhat anxious.
Rosa explained the matter to Adrian in a few words.
"It’s that Nora Scott again..." ntioning her na made Adrian angry. After a slight pause, his tone shifted, "Julian taught you out of respect for uncle, how can that not count as ntorship? What’s this old man thinking, humiliating you in front of so many people!"
Rosa pursed her lips, not wanting to entertain Adrian’s complaints for the mont.
Taking a deep breath, she said, "At this point, I definitely need to co forward and clarify, otherwise people will say I’m guilty."
Adrian imdiately asked, "How will you clarify?"
"Say that the master said it to humor Nora Scott, it was just a joke."
Adrian thought for a mont and cald down, "Julian doesn’t know about your clarification, but from Nora’s side—"
"So, brother, I need you to do a favor." Rosa narrowed her eyes, speaking deliberately, "I need to make the master owe this favor."
...
Half an hour later, Rosa publicly responded on social dia, clarifying that Julian was just joking, and congratulated Nora on becoming her junior colleague.
Her wording was calm, unhurried, maintaining her aloof deanor.
As for the previous inconsistencies in Julian’s statents, she ignored them, acting as if she hadn’t seen them.
Suddenly, the originally one-sided situation began to shift. After all, Julian hadn’t directly stated that Rosa wasn’t his student, it was just a casual chat with Nora. Thus, seeing Rosa’s straightforward statent, people were left uncertain, and so began to support her.
That night, the internet was abuzz with debates over this issue.

The next day.
Early in the morning, as the sky was just lightening, Nora Scott sat yawning on the tall threshold of the pancake shop. Her legs folded and extended, leaning her head against the door fra, she looked listless and blankly stared at the rising, bright red sun on the horizon.
—Julian Linfield, the bastard, let her sleep until late morning before she beca his disciple. Now with her apprenticeship, he woke her up before dawn, forcing her to co help at the pancake shop.
Of course, there’s no way she would help; Nora could only attract custors with her looks.
Usually, just standing at the door was enough.
After sitting for about ten minutes without a single custor coming in, Nora wondered if her attractiveness was no longer effective and then decided to play so gas on her phone. But she was so bored, she felt like her brain was growing wild, and Pedro Langley was probably on his way to work and couldn’t answer his phone.
Thinking it over, she had a sudden flash of inspiration, pulled up her sleeves, logged into the Marcus Shaw [XN000] account on a certain platform, and started a livestream on her phone.
A few minutes later, as the livestream chat erupted with squeals of "ahhhh" from the fans, Nora adjusted her clothes, stood up with seriousness, and said, "Perhaps you’d like to see how the legendary Master Julian Linfield turns pancakes into poison—"
