At this comic convention, many famous comic artists from CC Comics will be signing autographs, as well as prominent content creators from Cool Ridge dia participating in events. There will also be gas integrating modern technology, all sorts of official rchandise, and well-known cosplayers, singers, and perforrs...

It’s equivalent to a grand festival for the ani community.

How many people C&K Comic Con can attract is self-evident.

As Nora Scott passed by the main entrance, she took a glance around and was startled by the sight of the massive crowd, her temples pulsing with tension.

With so many people, if a disturbance were to occur, who knows if it could be controlled.

With her fingers on the brim of her baseball cap, she pressed it down and shoved her hands into her pockets, intending to head to the back door, when she overheard a group of young people passing by, discussing animatedly—

"Whoa, God Z is amazing! So many people are cosplaying his works! On my way here, out of every ten people, three were cosplaying characters from his works."

"This guy is truly incredible, top of the world. He doesn’t even attend, yet his fans turn the convention into a personal showcase of his work. His works aren’t even made into ani yet! Where does this massive appeal co from?"

"You guys wouldn’t believe it; when I just got out of the subway, I saw a group of middle schoolers, over ten, each cosplaying characters from his works, and half the people on the subway were taking pictures."

"That’s too over the top!"

"It’s the legendary national IP. Did you think people only in the comic circles knew about it?"

"No lie, considering it’s the ’Light of National Comics.’ ’Death Legend’ has been finished for three years, yet its popularity hasn’t waned. I wonder what God Z is thinking, not having animated his work yet. I’ve been waiting eagerly to reminisce the classics in the ani world."

...

Having heard all these discussions, Nora Scott slightly lowered her head, rubbed her nose, and quickly headed towards the back door.

Once at the back door, there were fewer people. Because of strict security, except for fans who received prior information and were waiting, generally, no one stayed.

Nora wandered over, her gaze sweeping around, not spotting Laura Collins, so she thought of taking out her phone to ask.

Unexpectedly, just as she took her phone out of her pocket, she heard the patter of fast running footsteps coming from behind, chaotic and hurried, like a gust of wind, approaching swiftly.

The eyebrows under her sunglasses knitted slightly, and Nora sidestepped quickly, but she was still a bit slow and got bumped on the arm by a girl rushing past.

"Watch where you’re walking, don’t block the way!"

Nora didn’t receive a polite apology, but rather a harsh scolding.

Having a short temper, Nora’s brows and eyes cooled at the sound.

However—

"Don’t cause trouble, Isabella’s here!" that girl’s companion urged.

"Coming, coming!"

The girl shouted quickly, glared at Nora, and then hurriedly ran off with her companion, disappearing from sight.

Wonder whose fan she is, her manners are questionable...

Tsked once, Nora twiddled her fingers, and a coin appeared between them. Narrowing her eyes slightly, Nora flicked her wrist, and the coin left her fingers, flying in an almost straight line and thudding against the back of the running girl’s knee.

"Ah—"

The girl let out a sudden scream, then stumbled, her left foot giving way from the pain, and she fell forward, face planting right into the ground.

The bouquet of flowers in her hand was flung out, and as it hit the ground, petals scattered everywhere.

As for that coin, it bounced out of sight just as the girl fell.

"When are you going to teach that trick?"

From behind, there was a teasing remark followed by a clear whistle.

With a smile tugging at her lips, Nora turned her head and saw Laura Collins in a leather jacket and jeans, her hair short and neat, with a black and white striped scarf, wearing Martin boots, carrying a very cool androgynous style.

Yet she was strikingly beautiful, with red lips and white teeth, exquisite brows, fair skin, completely unlike a "tomboy."

Unabashedly and straightforwardly, Nora said, "It requires basic skills; you wouldn’t learn it."

"Alright then."

Laura walked over slowly, and as she reached Nora’s side, she pulled out a coin, flashed it before Nora, then clasped her fingers together slightly. When she opened them, the coin was gone.

She smiled at Nora and snapped her fingers.

Nora realized sothing, fished into her own pocket, and pulled out the coin.

With an eyebrow raised, Nora chuckled helplessly.

The trick she showed Pedro Langley earlier, she had sneakily learned from Laura. But obviously, she hadn’t mastered it well yet.

Laura raised an eyebrow too, looking ahead at the crowd approaching, her tone casual, "Isabella Hart."

"Hmm?"

Nora was taken aback; the na sounded a bit familiar.
