Lucen looked at the Goblin King, who was holding a colossal jagged sword, and focused on seeing what he would do.
In the ga, there were goblins of different levels, but the strongest type he had seen was only the Goblin General.
There wasn’t any Goblin King that showed up in the ga, so he had no idea what kind of being or what kind of tricks this monster had to offer.
As a veteran gar, he knew the first steps of winning were to learn about the other party’s patterns.
The Goblin King shifted his grip on the colossal jagged sword, dragging its edge across the ground. Sparks hissed as steel scraped against frozen earth.
His breath stead in thick, bestial clouds, and with each exhale, the air seed to grow heavier, as though the battlefield itself bent beneath his presence.
Even the lesser goblins, mindless fodder driven by the General’s commands, slowed their charge.
The Gladiators howled louder, feeding off the madness radiating from their King. The Heroes lowered their blades in solemn salute, ready to follow wherever his will pointed.
’Alright then, show what kind of movesets you have.’ Lucen thought to himself as he beca even more focused than ever before. His eyes did not miss a single movent the Goblin King made.
"HUMANS!!!" The Goblin King suddenly shouted, his voice sounded like a snarling beast. "I was planning to conquer you and use you as slaves, but now that you have killed one of my close aids, I change my mind."
The Goblin King then emitted a killing intent that could be felt through the entire battlefield. The Goblin King pointed its jagged sword at the Fortress.
"Now I will butcher every last one of you! I will use your skulls and bones on my throne. I will tear down your houses and break your families so that your nas rot in my lands. Your screams will be my hymn; those that I fancy will help breed a better goblin, a better soldier. Be grateful to be a part of my conquest."
The way the Goblin King spoke was full of malice, and it was obvious to all that, unlike most of the goblins present, it held a high degree of intelligence.
The Goblin King stood among the other Goblins with a powerful body. It was not as large as the Goblin Gladiators, but it was bigger than the Goblin Heroes.
Its muscular body was refined to the utmost for battle. It was like a sculpted body made from marble.
There was a sort of beauty to the viciousness of the Goblin King. Even at such a distance, those who were sensitive to the flow of mana could sense the difference between the Goblin King and the other Goblins.
The mana from the Goblin Mage was not that large, and it mostly used the mana of the environnt, but the Goblin King’s innate mana was large.
It was not at the sa scale as the Frost Titan from before, but it was large enough to be seen as a massive threat on the battlefield.
The Goblin King made a command to all the Goblins present. "Kill all of the humans! Torture them, bring upon them suffering, and show them that death is an honor they do not deserve!"
The goblins roared in unison as their frenzy beca even wilder. This ti, even the Goblin Heroes who waited and only attacked people with aura or mana were now charging forward madly.
The tempo of the goblin army had changed entirely. The people in the First Fortress had barely eaten or rested, and no longer had a chance, as they needed to keep the wave of goblins away.
Even the Goblin General that was controlling the lesser goblins and hobgoblins was now getting near to the wall.
"Beasts that only know how to take, we will not give you anything! We will protect our holand, our loved ones, and everything we care about! For Norvaegard!"
Vardon, the almost always stoic man, spoke with such passion and such vigor that the n and won of the First Fortress had no ti to feel fear. All they felt right now was righteous rage at the monster that said it wanted to take what was important to them.
"For Norvaegard!" The people in the fortress shouted.
"Don’t let a single one of those bloody monsters in!"
"Kill them all!"
"Those beasts need to die!"
The n and won of the First Fortress felt their fatigue disappear as they started attacking with whatever they had with much more energy than before.
"Hahaha! It would seem that it is truly ti to go all out! Let see if I can do this better."
Robert took out a mana potion, but unlike the others, this mana potion was of a darker color. This was one of his creations, a mana potion with stronger mana concentration.
A mana potion like this wouldn’t be able to be used as a normal product since it had a lot of defects, one of which is that it had a twenty percent chance of killing the one who drinks it.
The high concentration of natural mana would forcefully enter your body if you’re unable to control your mana precisely; either you die or you beco crippled.
Of course, Robert was not bothered by that problem since his control over his mana was better than most.
Once he regained enough mana, Robert used his mana to disrupt the outside flow of mana and control it. He copied the way the Frost Titan controlled the surrounding mana, but of course, he did it in a way that a human could.
Robert lifted his hand upward, then once he was ready, he smashed his hand to the ground. The surrounding areas near him turned into ice, and the monsters that were near him were frozen.
"Tch, not nearly as good, but I can get better." Robert took out another concentrated mana potion and drank it, ready to use the new spell again.

On the battlents, Lucen, who had regained enough mana, once again created the Gewehr 98 bolt-action rifle.
The distance between him and the Goblin King was around two kiloters right now. Based on the knowledge given to him by the skill Gun Knowledge, he knew the effective range of this Gewehr 98 bolt-action rifle was around a kiloter, but the maximum range it could reach was 3,700 ters.
The difference between the effective range and the maximum range was the accuracy and lethal force of hitting the target. The effective range was basically also the kill range. The maximum range was basically the farthest recorded distance the bullet could travel. At that distance, its power and accuracy drop drastically.
Still, that was with a regular person shooting. Lucen was a gun mage, and his current skills allow him to shoot with accuracy further than the effective range.
His skill, Killing Zone, was still working; even though fewer enemies were targeting him, there were still quite a few. So his accuracy, dexterity, agility, and critical hit rate were higher than normal.
Lucen felt like he could hit the Goblin King at this distance. Lucen then aid at the Goblin King, using the sa elent of wind imbued in the bullets he fired.
In a speed faster than sound, creating a sonic boom, the bullet flew towards the Goblin King. When the bullet ca in front of it, the Goblin King deflected the bullet with his jagged sword.
"Human child, you think you can kill the sa way?!" The Goblin King roared in anger. "Co here, you coward, and face !"
Lucen did not bother to answer with words; instead, he changed the elent he imbued into the bullet and tried to hit the Goblin King with lightning. He was hoping to recreate sothing similar to a railgun with this elent.
Lucen’s lightning round scread through the air like a spear of white-blue light. The Goblin King, who deflected the earlier bullet, used more force to deflect this one.
Even though it successfully deflected the attack, the lightning damage was felt through its body. The Gobling King was infuriated. Even though it wasn’t truly injured and was rely tickled by the attack, the very fact that the attack got through made it angry.
"You human child!" The angry Goblin King charged forward even faster. The Goblin King’s charge trampled the Goblins in its path.
Lucen then tried to attack the Goblin King using different elental bullets, but no matter what he shot at the Goblin King, the Goblin King deflected it.
The only thing that damaged the Goblin King was the tiny elental damage caused by the bullets, like the explosion created as he deflected the bullets imbued with the elent of fire. This just angered the Goblin King even more.
Still, Lucen now understood a bit about the stats of the Goblin King. The speed at which it deflects bullets, and the damage it receives from the elents that hit it.
He also understood that even though the Goblin King was sturdy and most likely had a high health bar, the fact that it deflected the bullets instead of simply taking them like the Goblin Gladiators might an that it knows it would sustain damage if it took the bullets head-on.
Seeing the Goblin King nearing the fortress wall, Vardon was about to take action, but Lucen spoke to him.
"Father, please allow to face the Gobling King alone." The second those words ca out of Lucen’s mouth, it was like the entire battlefield beca quiet.
