The First magician and a bigger Genius.
Selene opened the box carefully.
"WAIT LITTLE MOON, THIS IS—"
"What happened mother?" Aurelion shot back instantly.
"Ohh don’t worry, little moon."
"Is this a magical ornant?" Selene asked.
"Yes mother, is there anything worrying about it?" Aurelion asked.
"Nothing to worry, I just couldn’t believe how we both thought of the sa thing." Selene replied with a calming smile.
"Sa thing???" Aurelion asked with a muddled expression.
"I forgot to tell you before so I also wanted to gift you sothing about to apologize properly." Selene answered with those puppy eyes.
"There’s nothing to apologize mother. I know that you would have never done that intentionally."
"Regardless, it is a happy occasion. So how do you like the pendant?" Aurelion asking warmly.
"Maria" Selene called.
Selene’s personal maid who was also the head maid ca forward.
She also brought a gift box in her hand sa as Lyra, only difference being that this one was fully gold plated.
"Here, little moon." Selene gave the box to Aurelion.
Aurelion opened the box. It was the sa Crescent moon pendant. Though, this one looked much more refined and neat. Also, it radiated strong ether mana from inside.
Both Mother and Son looked at each other for a while then burst into laughter.
"Hahaha, so that’s what you ant mother." Aurelion laughed.
They both checked each other’s gift.
"Here, give yours." Selene said.
She took both the crescent pendants and held them in her hand.
Selene started chanting sothing, a mana circle erupted in the air. Mana started gaushing in the environnt.
The CrescentPendants started floating in the air. The mana circle behind reacted and then.
BOOM
The circuit erupted and the mana circle behind disappeared. The pendant joined with each other still retaining their different textures.
Selene cracked the joined pendant and split it into two perfect halves.
"What did you do, mother?" Aurelion asked.
"I just enhanced the enchantnts in both the pendants. I have also added a communication spell in this, while connecting these two. Now, whenever you will tap two tis on your pendant, mine - the one you have gifted , will ring and we can connect with each other and have a conversation. It goes both ways." Selene explained.
"Wow mother, I never you were so good at enchanting too." Aurelion praised.
"Hehe, Your Mother was the third youngest in historyto beco an Archmage." Selene boasted.
She put a finger under her nose and slightly blushed it.
"Woah, that’s such an incredible thing to achieve. Who were the other two mother?" Aurelion asked sincerely.
"The second was ZERAPHOS OF THE SILENT AGE, The Genius Archmage and one of the only few ones to reach the 9th Circle."
"You must have read about him in your magical theory and history books, he is the one who is commonly known as The First Magician." Selene extended.
THE FIRST MAGICIAN, YEAH THAT DUDE, I HAVE READ A LOT ABOUT HIM. APPARENTLY, THAT GUY IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ARE ABLE TO CHANNELIZE MANA. HIS THEORIES ARE STILL UNMATCHED.
Aurelion thought.
"Ohh that guy, yes I know about him mother. Wait — You just said he is the second youngest, there was actually soone better than him and how young was he when he beca an Archmage?"
Aurelion’s curiosity took over. He was now completely imrsed in the conversation.
He wanted the answers quickly.
Selene smiled seeing Aurelion being this curious for the first ti.
"So, you have finally taken Magic as your first interest. I have always told you that you are not made for that brute style of fighting."
"Afterall, Aside from the Valerius bloodline, you also have the Lunaris blood running in your veins too." Selene pouted a little.

"Can you please explain in a little more details?" Aurelion asked sincerely.
"Fine - fine, I will start from the beginning." Selene scowled her face.
"500 years ago —
The First Magician Zeraphos of the Silent Night, started his magical research at the age of 12. Before that he had no prior magic circles or knowledge of mana. The tales say that he used to be an illegitimate child of County who was thrown out by his stepmother on the pretext of having no talent for Aura. Everyone had expected him to fall and die soon or live his whole life as a rcenary or a beggar."
"But Zeraphos was different, he wanted to achieve sothing. In just few months of starting his research, he created a way to channelize mana and use it to fight Aura Swordsman which was—"
"Mystic heart " Aurelion said it before Selene finished.
"CORRECT. So, after he created Mystic Heart, he unlocked each circle with different theories and approaches. When he was at the age of 17, in just 5 years, he unlocked his 7th Circle and beca the first Archmage.

"I see." Aurelion reacted.
"Yes, then I beca Archmage at age of 19, becoming the third youngest in history with my talent." Selene continued.
"WAIT — Mother, then who was the youngest?" Aurelion roared.
"Of course, it was none other than BIG BROTHER CAELION."
