The beautiful Knight manifested Aura and coated her sword completely with it, it looked like a steel blade was radiating fire. She slashed the cage as if it she was cutting butter to apply for morning toast. She Sheathed her sword again and kept it while stacking it against a leather side strap.
Then, she offered her hand, indicating to them that they are free to leave. The dense tal bars after being cut through resembled a cave door. The slaves started coming outside of that cave door still in their arms and legs shackles. They ca around and the two Knights instructed them to sit with their knees bens in a straight line, so they can get a headcount.
The line of these slaves finally reached to Aurelion. Two elves and a dwarf, all three on their knees sitting exact opposite to where Aurelion was standing.
"WOAH, THEY NEVER NTIONED THIS IN THE NOVEL." Aurelion yelled.
The husky voice knight turned.
"Novel? What novel?"
An Oops mont again for Aurelion.
Though after soti, Aurelion resolved this with his quick thinking.
But inside in his mind, he was very frustrated. So much that, it started becoming visible to the others.
WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL THAT THIS WORLD HAS ELVES AND OTHER RACES, YOU STUPID AUTHOR.
He thought while plucking out so of his hair in frustration. The slaves who were observing all this, had their eyes deadlock on him.
The two knights went around circles between this row of slaves. After a while, the headcount finalized.

And 1 Dwarf.
Total - 31 Slaves.
The Beautiful Knight stepped forward and gave a stance as if she was giving a speech on a podium.
"You... Yes, all of you," She raised both of her hands, "are free now." She said while making a fist in her right hand and standing it upright.
"The Empire has made Slavery forbidden, thus I shall promise you all that these slave traders will be punished and I personally, will ensure that they receive 10 tis the pain you guys were inflicted with."
OH MY, WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS SHE, A POLITICIAN?
The slaves started cheering, so were crying and so were simply relieved. There was just one odd case though, The Dwarf, in front of Aurelion looked angry instead.
TheDwarf stood barely above the waist of an average man, compact and solid. His shoulders were broad for his height, arms thick with dense muscle that showed even beneath his tunic. Unlike the ancient, white-bearded dwarves of old tales, he looked young—his beard short and trimd close along his jaw, more rugged than wild. Dark auburn hair was tied loosely at the back, with a few stubborn strands falling across his forehead. His eyes were sharp and bright. A faint dusting of soot clung to his sleeves and gloves, and small burn marks dotted the leather apron strapped over his chest.
"Hey, everything all right?" Aurelion asked.
"You look angry, old man." He added.
"OLD MAN?" The dwarf yelled at Aurelion angrily. "I’M BARELY 80 YEARS OLD, YOU HUMAN BRAT. And I’m not angry. "
"BRAT?" Lyra repeated in anger.
"Oh no." Aurelion reacted.
"No, Lyra. Don’t do anything. Everything is fine, he is just cranky I think." He held Lyra by her waist stopping her to charge on the Dwarf.
"No, leave , your highness. I am going to kick this bearded roller like how I kicked the ball in the ga you called Football." Lyra yelled in anger, trying to kick him.
"Now, you are one rude young lady. Learn so manners." The dwarf said.
"Ohh, your highness, you feel it too now. He is just asking for it, I am telling you." Lyra tries to kick him again.
"Stephan, help ." Aurelion calls.
Stephan grabs Lyra by her hand and pull her back and says "Now-Now, Lyra. At least, let us listen to him first."
"Hmph" Lyra moved her face backwards. "Yeah, sure. Go talk to him like he is so prince or sothing."
Aurelion reached his hand out.
"Hey, old man. Seriously, why are you angry?"
" I told you already brat that I’m not angry." He stood up from his place. "If you really want to know what happened then listen", he curled his hands on the back. "I was captured by those bastards three days ago. They captured while I was drinking my favorite soup. The Sweet Corn one, not that carrot one which you young people like. But it got finished so, they served the carrot one later."
"Old man, you went astray." Aurelion reminded.
"Anyway, then for those three days I have been cramd in such a low quality cage, I an, if I were to made it, I woul—"
"Hey, old man. The story." Aurelion reminded again.
"Ahh yes, so I was cramd in such a place for 3 days and that too with so many people inside." He took a pause.
anwhile—
The Beautiful Knight and the other Knights were cutting off the shackles of the other slaves. She kept asking where they were captured and if they have any place to return to or not.
At the sa ti, she was making sure that the numbers were being kept in check so, no slave trader is left to capture or slave were left inside.
Such a huge number of slaves and then even, a higher number of slave trader and a girl who looked in her teens was doing all the work while the Crown Prince of that kingdom was busy learning which soup a random dwarf likes.
"I see, I understand now." Aurelion shook his head showcasing that he has understood the whole situation.
"Finally?" The dwarf almost rejoiced.
"Your highness, you did?" Stefan asked too.
"Yes, yes. I got it now." He said confidently.
"You are angry because you were captured and your favorite soup was not even served to you for your last free serving."
"What? No." The dwarf reacted.
"I AM NOT ANGRY. I AM CONSTIPATED, YOU BRAT." He yelled.
While all this was going on, our precious Sally was still dozed off.
