A Morphveil and it’s Characteristics.
The training ground felt chill, even though scorching afternoon was arriving, the wind set the mood of the surroundings. Caelion was thoroughly enjoying his new test subject which happened to be Sally.
"And you are not a Dragon."
The mont Aurelion heard this, he jumped ahead to get answers."Wait, then what about my dream of conquering the skys?"
"Huh... " Caelion exhaled as a stimulus reaction after hearing that.
"I an, if she is not a dragon then, I can’t fly on her. And what exactly is she then?" Aurelion rephrased.
Caelion chuckled. "I heard you the first ti already,... Looks like the only thing, you are worried about is flying on her back." He paused "... Well, do not worry you can still fly on her after so training." He explained. This gave Aurelion so tranquility and he regained his composure.
"As for what she is, that’s uncertain yet..." Caelion added and took a pause, "but I believe that she is a Morphveil."
"A MORPHVEIL? WHAT IS THAT?" Both Aurelion and sally yelled at the sa ti.
"It is a magical beast, in your case a familiar. It has the ability to shapeshift into any creature it wants to," He explained and took a pause, "Sally, Aurelion told that you could attack with a Fire Breath attack the mont you were ford." He said.
"Well, yeah. I just felt angry and fire ca out of this honorable one’s mouth." She replied.
"...Glad to hear that." Caelion moved closer to the shooting arena and aid at a tal dummy. He casted a basic 1st circle Fireball Spell. His control was precise, no waste of energy Or mana could be seen. The fireball ca out of the spell circle and burned the tal dummy to a crisp.
THAT’S A GRAND ARCHMAGE FOR YA. HIS 1ST CIRCLE FIREBALL IS MORE POWERFUL THAN MY 3RD CIRCLE MAGIC.
Caelion turned back. "... You saw that, right? You just need to try repeat this with your hand." He said to Sally.
Sally nodded and tried to imitate him perfectly, mirroring his spell. She extended her hand and held there in the air for a while and then, air concentrated near her, the wind changed its direction, Aurelion gave an expectant look and braced himself for the greatness he was about to witness.
And then, it happened—
POOOOHHH
The sound ca. Caelion and Aurelion were completely shocked. The environnt the heavens created for her finally resulted in sothing.
IT WAS A FART.
SALLY FARTED WITH SO SMOKE AND CHARS.
She didn’t realize this was supposed to be an embarrassing mont, she jumped with joy and thrill, "... Yay... Success." She exclaid.
"Sally, you’re not supposed to be happy in such situations." Aurelion said with second hand embarrassnt.
Caelion rubbed his temples. "This one is on ...," He turned to Sally. "Maybe, try this ti with your mouth." He said.
"What, Again? But I already succeeded." She gave a cry of annoyance.
"...Just do it already, please." Aurelion said, his face still flushed red with embarrassnt.
The stance was taken again, the person casting the fireball was sa too, the only difference was she was going to try it with her mouth instead. Sally rembered the way Caelion casted that Fireball, she thought of its flow and in just within few blinks, there was a huge blow of fire, filled to brim, size similar to a couch. She contemplated about how Caelion hit his target and aid at the tal dummy in front her. Unfortunately, she missed but her fireball or firecouch smacked the tree behind it and completely obliterated it from existence.
The mood got filled with bliss, Sally jumped again in excitent but this ti the other two applauded. A lot of cheering and delightful smiles flew into the air.
Caelion initiated the discussion. "So that’s what I was going for. Basically, the reason why she can perform fire magic is because her life force is entangled with fire magic, so in theory, Sally is a Fire Morphveil."
Caelion looked at Aurelion and said. "We are back to your Summoning Military force dream where you can have different elentals Morphveils."
Caelion turned to Sally again. "Ok now, ti for the second and the main characteristic of Morphveil."
Caelion dragged a wide chalkboard to the center of the training floor, the wooden legs scraping softly against stone. He picked up a piece of chalk and began sketching—first a fox, then a hawk, then a lean mountain cat. The drawings were simple but deliberate, each line clear, each proportion precise. He stepped aside and turned to Sally. "Study them, not just the shape, the balance and the weight too."
Sally stared at the board, unusually serious. After a long mont, she shut her eyes and tried. Her form blurred slightly, then snapped back, ears half-ford and tail fading awkwardly. She frowned and tried again. This ti her limbs shortened unevenly before returning to normal. A faint growl escaped her in frustration.
"It is fine, try again." Caelion uplifted her spirit.
On the third attempt, her body transford more smoothly, bones realigned, body fra started shrinking. Fur replaced skin in a soft ripple, and within seconds she beca a small fox and stood where she had been, now blinking in surprise at her own paws.
"... Yay..., I did it," She cheered and took a look at other animals, "this will be a piece of cake now." She said.
She got encouraged now, this ti she went for The Hawk. The change ca quicker now, a lighter fra, narrowing limbs, feathers spreading in place of arms. She stumbled at first, wings twitching unevenly, but soon managed a short, awkward flutter above the ground. She started getting arrogant.
"The honorable one can do this in its sleep." She boasted.
But then all her arrogance and confidence shattered, she attempted to transform into a deer but she failed patheticly as half of her body was brown while the other remain in human parts. This made it awkward to look at her.
Hence, She failed.
