The Tea ti and so misunderstandings.
The Scorching heat during the familiar summoning had flung into a silky evening, the wind felt breezy with a calm in it. The evening was sheathing like a blanket.
Aurelion practiced for a while, doing his usual swings, imbuing his sword with 2 Star Aura now, after so advancent in his swordsmanship.
Then, A maid entered from the side lobby, she bowed and then said "Your Highness, Lady Knightheart has sent to inform you that she is free right now for a tea session with you."
"...About ti." Aurelion expressed.
The maid simply inford and left the training grounds. Aurelion looked at his familiars, the golem was looking at the sky like a guy who was dumped recently, he ignored it and approached the other three at the shades of the sitting area.
"Now, What should I do with you? Can’t just leave you here, maybe Lyra could help." He murmured to himself.
By the God’s grace, Stefan was passing by through the sa side lobby where the maid was standing earlier. He spotted Aurelion and ca towards the training grounds.
His footsteps spoke Aurelion about his presence, he turned and Stefan was standing behind him. "... Greetings, your highness." Stefan bowed.
"Jackpot " Aurelion muttered.
"Good evening, Stefan. You ca at the perfect timing, I have so work for you." Aurelion told him.
"What can this old bones do for you, your highness. Just simply give the command." Stefan responded.
"Nothing major, you see this personal zoo of mine, can you inform Lyra to take care of them and inform the tower servants to feed them." Aurelion explained.
"... As you wish, your highness. I shall make sure personally that all arrangents have been done." Stefan gave a humble response. "... Huh..., Why would you do that? " Aurelion said, "that’s not your job as a helmsman just let Lyra and the other maids know about my wishes, they will do the arrangents on their own." He continued.
Stefan received the orders and approached the familiars, they were surprisingly amicable with him and listened to him, even the golem too. He turned around to leave the grounds when Aurelion called him from the back. "... Wait, Stefan. Where were you all this ti? I haven’t seen you inside the tower even a single. You left before, when we arrived here on the first day too." Aurelion asked.
"Ohh it is nothing, your highness. You do not need to be concern about this shaky bones, I was simply taking care of the horses in the stable. And there were many magici—" He paused. "I an, everything is fine. Just let know when I should prepare the carriage for departure." He corrected himself.
Aurelion nodded. Stefan bowed again and left with the familiars, he was treating them as little children so it looked like a grandpa was on a picnic with his little grandkids.Aurelion left for his appointnt with Evelyn too.
He entered the wide veranda kind of place Inside the tower periters but outside the main tower, it was beautifully decorated where they had make animals like peacock, butterfly and deer etc with flowers. Not only that, there were actual deers grazing in the area too.
Aurelion eyes focused on a swing, white color, not very lavish but looked decent. Behind that swing a table with so chairs were placed in a white pod made on a nice white marble podium. Evelyn was sitting on that table, her personal maid along side her.
Aurelion climbed the stairs of the podium where she was sitting. He walked up to her, she stood up and greeted him while lifting her skirt gently. She was wearing a dark blue skirt today, whith flowery pattern and patches of violet dressings.
"... Good evening, your highness. I would be delighted to have you for a tea session, also forgive for taking so much ti today. " Evelyn Greeted.
"Good evening, Lady Evelyn. There is nothing for you to apologize, It was who wished for this interaction so one sidedly. I am grateful for you to take out so ti for ." He responded.
Aurelion sat on the table, shifted his magician robe so, tea doesn’t spill on it. Evelyn gestured her personal maid to serve tea for both of them. She complied, brew the tea, served the aromatic bright lustrous tea in so top notch crockery set. And then she quietly left the table.
"... I believe that you must have wanted to discuss in a private sitting after last night chaos. May I ask the reason for such sudden wish of interaction?" Evelyn asked.
"The truth is..... I wanted to know your views on the engagent, no the whole arrangents of the marriage." Aurelion answered.
"My views? I do not exactly understand the intention of that question. Do you by any chance have a negative opinion on our engagent?" She shot back with her question of her own.
"... Ohh no, nothing of that sort. I guess, this could lead to so misinterpretation. This one is on . To explain you about my intentions more thoroughly, I wanted to ask if this arrangent is being pressed on you or goes against your will." Aurelion explained.
What Aurelion had forgot in the midst of the whole arrangent chaos was the fact that he was talking to a five year old girl. No matter how much of a privileged, distinguished and noblesse education she received, the conversation he was having with her required a maturity which cos with experience, age and lot more of interactions.
Thus this led to a big misunderstanding on the version of Evelyn. Her next words held more weight than even she herself realized.
"Your highness, are you suggesting that the Knightheart Duchy is so thug and is not worthy of being married in Royalty." She said.
"I get it now, you do not want to marry cause you think I am not up to par in skills and worthy enough to stand along side you who is considered a child prodigy."
