The Afternoon looking bright and airy, showing no signs of clouds displayed a perfect timing for the departure. The carriage stood ready near the front courtyard at the main gate. Aurelion stepped forward first, cloak settling neatly behind him, Stefan already at the helm of the Carriage after his conversation with Duke Lunaris. The familiars jumping around close, drifting and slithering near Aurelion.
Evelyn along with her personal maid stood at the main gate doorstep arch a few steps away, hands behind at first, then slowly lifting one to wave bye to Aurelion. Caelion stood beside her, his arms were folded and his gaze was only focused on Stefan.
Everyone was thinking about the departure, though all had other point of views on it. So were just hastened to reach back ho, so were excited to open a new map section, so were simply waiting to see them off, one was different though.
The Group was ready to depart. Rhael leaned forward slightly, one hand raised higher than the others, offering a more enthusiastic farewell. "...Safe journey," he said along with Caelion’s signature devilish smile. Caelion picked that, his gaze shifted to where Rhael’s eyes we’re focused on, he chuckled. "...I see, so this was the reason. Interesting...very interesting." Then he turned and waved to the ground too. Evelyn added a softer, "...Don’t forget to write," though she imdiately looked embarrassed for saying it.
Everyone sat in the carriage, the inside area now looked like more congested, uncomfortable and a miniature zoo. Sally being the only familiar which looked like a human sitting opposite to Aurelion. Lyra and Aurelion sitting together on one side. Aurelion and Sally were talking about sothing.
Last night — (in Lyra’s mind)
"Please, I beg you." Lyra requested. "... Please just help for once." She added.
Rhael pondered for a while. "...You know, spending so much ti in the tower takes a toll on my body and I still....have not seen the Capital’s market." Rhael talked in a round about way.
"...Huh, I don’t understand what does that have to do with this?" Lyra asked. "It does as the condition for letting you go today is that you must go on a DATE WITH IN THE CAPITAL." Rhael stated his condition.
"...WHATTT?" Lyra yelled.
"... You know, an outing just for the two of us." Rhael rephrased.
"... No, No, No. Never. I know pretty boys like you coax innocent girls like then, take advantage of us while you also have a wife and kids at ho." She pinned her finger at Rhael aggressively. "... Do not think, I am stupid enough like your other preys. "

"... Wait. Just wait. Give so ti to think." Lyra pondered hard, calculated all the possibilities, her heart wanted to go on her very first date but brain kept reminding her of swindlers. Eventually, the heart convinced the brain. "Well, of course this is for his highness. After all, I promised him that I will take care of all aftermath issues. Yes, Lyra Yes. He backed up a little, so Lyra moved away from the wall, after the wall slam incident. "...Oh one more thing," He grabbed Lyra’s hand and kissed the back of it. "... I am only twenty years old and unmarried, so you don’t have to worry about having a wife and kids."
Lyra’s heart skipped a beat, she fluttered. Rhael left after kissing her hand. Lyra smiled, a genuine, hearty one like she was on the ninth cloud. "Wait, why are you smiling. Stop smiling will you?" She thought.
This all happened last night. I had so weird dreams too, where I was dancing with him and talked with him for hours staring into his eyes. When I woke up, I thought it was over since his highness was busted but then today too.
Afternoon —
At the ti of departure.
Aurelion exited the tower, Lyra and the other familiars were already standing outside. Rhael, who was standing beside Caelion moved towards Lyra and said to her. "DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR DATE, MY FAIR LADY"
"... What date? His highness was caught so it is not valid." Lyra annulled. "Oh my, I never thought you were the type to not stand on your words. I am pretty sure the condition was that I don’t tell his Grace about it, it can not be helped if he himself detects it though."
".. Youuuu." She yelled. "Do not try to be oversmart, you think I am duplicitous. Fine, I will co with you." She roared in her pride.
Rhael chuckled. "... Too easy." He mumbled lightly, then he moved closer to her and lighty whispered in her ears in a coquettish voice, "Your MR. PERFECT, knight in shining armor will be waiting for you at the city’s square at evening of next week." Lyra’s ear were all red and her heart skipped a beat again
Present Ti —
Ahhh, Lyriii. Just What were you even thinking accepting that. What will I do now? Ohh right, he said, next week right. Fortunately, his highness promised a leave. I will be able to go without letting anyone know then.
