The Calm and peaceful environnt of dinner took multiple phases of transformation. There was so developnt talk, so questioning, so scolding too but very little eating. The Soothing Family ti shifted to another phase.

Aurex tapped his fingers lightly against the table. Then he said, "...Your Academy classes start tomorrow, right?" Aurelion replied with a nod. "...That’s great." Aurex said, then picked up a glass of water. "... So, I guess. You will be departing soon again." He continued. "Yes, Father." Aurelion said. Then, the family after having a wonderful ti together went back to sleep.

It was Early Morning in the royal palace that day. Even before the sun had fully ca out above the distant hills, the castle had already begun to work. Servants walked through the long corridors carrying trays and linens, guards rotated their posts along the marble halls, and the faint sound of preparation drifted through the inner wings of the palace.

Today marked the beginning of the new term at the Imperial Academy.

In the eastern wing of the palace, Aurelion stood quietly near the tall arched windows of his chamber. The pale light of dawn filtered through the curtains, painting the stone floor with soft gold as the young prince adjusted the dark coat he wore. The attire was formal but simple compared to the elaborate garnts expected of royalty. Silver embroidery ran lightly along the collar and sleeves, the subtle insignia of the academy stitched neatly over the chest.

Aurelion examined the fit briefly before fastening the last clasp. At twelve years old, he had grown noticeably taller than before, his once youthful fra now leaner and more defined from years of disciplined training. His shoulders had broadened slightly, and the calm posture he carried gave him the air of soone far older than his age. His hair had grown longer as well, dark strands falling just past his ears with faint hints of silver shimring where the morning light touched them.

The city stretched far below the hilltop castle, rooftops slowly awakening beneath the rising sun. Sowhere beyond those streets stood the Imperial Academy, its towers visible in the far distance.

Today would be the beginning of sothing new. A soft knock sounded at the door. "Co in," Aurelion said. The door opened, Slyveria stepped inside. Her lavender-silver hair shimred softly in the morning light, tied loosely behind her head though several strands had already escaped to fra her face. Her light athyst eyes imdiately locked onto Aurelion as she walked into the room.

"You’re leaving already?" she asked. Aurelion nodded slightly. "The academy begins today." Slyveria walked closer, tilting her head as she carefully inspected his attire. "You look different." Aurelion answered "It’s a formal uniform."

She folded her arms thoughtfully, staring at him for a mont "I don’t like it." Aurelion raised an eyebrow. "Why?" She pouted like a little version of Selene. "Because it ans you’ll be busy." He chuckled softly. "That’s unavoidable."

After a mont, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"Then co back early," she demanded. Aurelion gently rested a hand on her head. "I’ll try."

Before she could respond again, another knock sounded at the door. This ti it opened slowly. Selene entered the chamber.

The Empress carried herself with the sa graceful composure she always had, her silver hair falling elegantly behind her shoulders as her calm gaze moved toward her son. "So you’re ready," she said.

Aurelion gave a respectful nod. "Yes, Mother." Selene approached slowly, studying him for a brief mont. "You’ve grown," she said softly. Slyveria nodded enthusiastically. "He’s taller now." Aurelion sighed lightly. "I’m still here."

Selene smiled faintly before adjusting the collar of his coat. "Rember," she said quietly, "the academy is more than just a place of learning." Aurelion nodded. "You will et people from many noble houses there. So will admire you. So will test you." She added.

Selene stepped back slightly. Footsteps echoed faintly outside the chamber. A mont later, the door opened again. Aurex entered.

The king’s presence filled the room imdiately, his tall figure frad by the doorway as his gaze settled on Aurelion. "So," Aurex said calmly, "today is the day." Aurex crossed his arms.

Aurelion looked directly at him. "Yes Father." Aurex studied him carefully for a mont before nodding. "Good answer." Slyveria tugged lightly on Aurex’s sleeve. "Father, he promised to co back early."

Aurex looked down at her. "Did he?" The king glanced toward Aurelion. "Try not to disappoint your sister." Aurelion stood tall. "I’ll do my best." Selene clapped her hands softly. "Well then," she said, "we shouldn’t keep the carriage waiting."

Together, the small family group walked through the palace corridors toward the main courtyard. Servants and guards bowed respectfully as they passed. The early morning air greeted them as they stepped outside.

A royal carriage waited near the palace gates, its polished surface reflecting the rising sunlight while two knights stood at attention beside the horses. Slyveria held Aurelion’s hand tightly the entire way down the steps. "You’ll co back tonight?" she asked again. "I promise." Satisfied, she finally let go.

Selene embraced him briefly. "Take care of yourself." Then Aurex stepped forward. The king placed a hand on Aurelion’s shoulder. "Rember," he said quietly, "your actions represent more than just yourself." Aurex nodded once before stepping back. "That’s enough advice for one morning."

Aurelion climbed into the carriage. The door closed behind him. Monts later, the horses began moving. The palace gates opened slowly as the carriage rolled forward, leaving the royal courtyard behind.

Inside, Aurelion sat quietly as the city streets passed by outside the window. The capital was already alive. rchants opened their stalls, workers moved through the markets, and groups of young students dressed in academy uniforms walked along the sa road he now traveled.

Eventually the carriage reached a wide avenue lined with tall trees and stone statues. At the far end stood the Imperial Academy.

Its towering buildings rose above the surrounding walls, white stone towers connected by elegant bridges that stretched across the complex. Banners bearing the academy’s crest fluttered proudly in the morning breeze as hundreds of students entered through the massive gates.

The carriage ca to a stop. Aurelion stepped out.bFor a mont, he simply looked up at the towering institution before him.

The Imperial Academy.

The place where the kingdom’s greatest minds were trained and the academy Aurelion created for equality. Adjusting his coat slightly, Aurelion began walking toward the gates.

Students passed him on both sides, their voices filled with excitent and nervous energy. None of them paid much attention to him. To them, he was simply another figure arriving for the first day.

Aurelion crossed the academy gates. And stepped forward to start the academy arc of the plot.
