“Sun” probably had a grim expression right now—if he had a face, that is.

Looks like Sin has started killing, and pretty quickly too.

Judging from earlier performance, Sin’s strength shouldn’t be enough to quickly eliminate a Divine Creation.

But at this speed... the guy must’ve popped his “ultimate move.”

“Tsk.”

Thinking of that made him feel a bit irritable.

“That chick must’ve been feeding you intel on positions, right? F**k, doesn’t that make it a two-on-one?”

“Weren’t we supposed to join Tiandihui? Why didn’t anyone tell ?”

Sun cursed in frustration.

Although he had been forced to accept Lu Ce’s cooperation agreent, Sun wasn’t here to cooperate.

He was here for Perfect Completion. To kill more Hunters.

But now, Sin was clearly killing Hunters faster than he was.

While all the other Players were figuring out how to survive, Sun’s god-tier brain was worried there wouldn’t be enough Hunters left for him to kill.

“D*mn it, I feel like I got played.”

After cursing, he rembered—Sin had said from the start he just needed to “use him for a bit.”

So technically, the guy didn’t lie.

He didn’t know where the Divine Creations were and couldn’t find them to kill.

The only thing he could do was make a big enough scene so that all the civilians here paid attention to him.

That way, the Divine Creations would co to him on their own.

But to get the most people’s attention, he might have to go all-in. And if he did that, he wouldn’t be able to move—he’d really be letting Sin use him to perfection.

The more he thought about it, the more pissed off he got.

“F**k!”

He vented by punching out a Fire Dragon, blasting away the red Divine Creation that had charged him again.

This ti, maybe due to the impact or the heat, the thing couldn’t get up right away.

It lay struggling in the superheated rubble.

Sun’s expression turned gloomy. Actually, he could think of one more way...

If it was all about getting points—well, wasn’t the “Hunter” Tokyo itself?

Then what if he went on a civilian massacre here—would that count too...?

That thought froze the red-skinned giant in place.

But after a brief struggle, he didn’t act on it.

“Sigh, forget it, that’s not my style. I’m not about to turn into so f***ing animal.”

“F**k, these cowardly b*stards!”

The Fire Giant cursed again, casually blowing up another car next to him.

All his shouting and swearing was really just an excuse.

If any dumb-*ss dared to show up, he wouldn’t mind killing them to boost his KDA.

But the world always tailors itself to people—no one wanted to ss with soone clearly eager to kill.

“Free gold bars at the village! Soone co take a look at !”

His roar echoed through the night—no one responded...

“Fine, I’ll kill you first, then...”

Flas gathered, the Fireball between his hands first expanded, then shrank down, glowing red-black!

Then he smashed it downward—rcilessly pumling.

To a Divine Creation, Fireballs weren’t as strong as Lu Ce’s fists.

But they had one edge: unlimited supply.

Sun’s combat style was also annoyingly evasive.

Ever since he took a beating from Lu Ce, he’d carved “maintain distance” deep into his brain.

“Die!”

...

anwhile, the streets were blazing with light.

Like a parade of madness—headlights, subwoofers, even sirens were all blaring like crazy.

The crowd? Total chaos.

Laughter, mania, looting, arson, brawls.

The madness and sense of dissonance were so strong it felt like a hallucination.

In the middle of the road, two cops were wrestling each other.

Beside them, two cars drove in endless circles, like they were trying to rear-end each other.

Outside a store, so people were smashing the glass furiously, apparently trying to loot the place.

Next to them, others were shouting, telling them the door was open—they didn’t need to break the glass.

Girls in middle school uniforms were clawing at each other, on the verge of becoming unbroadcastable.

It was like everyone had ripped off their “human skin,” acting purely on primal instinct.

Chaos had peaked.

And up above, a red figure and a blue one tangled in aerial combat.

This wild, frenzied scene—of course—was Lu Ce’s handiwork: Chaos Trigger.

By now, he’d already killed four Divine-crafted Hunters.

Plus constant use of Chaos Trigger—wherever he passed, all of Tokyo's civilians went mad.

It was like everyone suddenly believed this was all just a ga.

They went berserk, venting all the things they’d normally never dare to express.

Naturally, this earned Lu Ce the highest level of attention in all Tokyo.

The Divine-crafted Hunters were all moving toward his location.

“Hehehehahaha! Why aren’t you laughing? Without a face, is it just not fun anymore? Can’t even laugh, huh?”

What can you say—Greed really was a chatterbox to the extre.

Even in a mont like this, Lu Ce had to taunt a mindless, speechless thing like crazy.

It’s just how he was.

And then, sothing new appeared on his Player Panel.

【Hunter has been killed! Killer: [Sun]!】

“Oh? Finally got sothing to do, huh?”

A twisted grin spread across his blue-painted face as he looked off into the distance.

Greed was Lu Ce.

Lu Ce was Greed.

He was just insane now, most of his sanity gone.

But at the core, he was still unified.

He knew exactly what he was doing—and what he was planning.

“You... not planning to make any big headlines yet?”

“It’s been a while now. Kinda boring.”

“I used to think you had the best showman’s spirit.”

These weren’t internal thoughts. He actually said them out loud.

And after speaking, he looked at the Divine Creation in front of him and asked:

“What do you think?”

Divine Creation: ?

Of course it couldn’t respond.

Lu Ce didn’t expect it to.

He just kept rambling.

“Ah, heheheh... boring. Don’t tell that’s all you’ve got.”

From a distance, a few red streaks of light were flying this way.

Looks like he had attracted the most Hunters after all.

But the next second—

A deafening roar echoed through the skies above Tokyo.

So loud it made people wonder if a nuke had gone off.

And visually? It really looked like it.

In the distance, near Tokyo Tower, a massive red glow appeared—

A gigantic Fireball, so huge nearly everyone in Tokyo could see it!

It really looked like a nuclear bomb!

Lu Ce’s grin stretched all the way to his ears.

“Heheh, my chess piece just went off~”
