The remaining four prisoners fell silent, clearly angry but too afraid to speak.

Who would've thought the newcor had this kind of skill?

Strange things often happened in this prison, so they weren’t exactly surprised by Lu Ce's sudden appearance, but it was their first ti seeing soone who could actually go toe-to-toe with the prison guards.

In this place, those three guards were like gods—no one dared ss with them.

“Outdoor ti lasts three hours in total.”

Scarface spoke up quietly.

“In our room, the ti is split evenly. One goes out only after the other cos back. You—”

“Are your ears deaf already?” The Pink Mask turned its head.

Everyone instinctively took a step back, faces darkening as they said,

“There are rules in this prison!”

“You’re not allowed to fight inside the cell!”

“Really?” A scornful smirk appeared on the Pink Mask. “So who’s going to punish ?”

The group instantly went speechless. They were about to ntion the guards, but this guy just fought one face-to-face and is still standing here fine as ever.

Lu Ce didn’t bother arguing with them over useless things. He simply stepped out.

The mission was to escape prison with everyone. If they all died, wouldn’t it be easier for him to get out alone?

But he didn’t plan to do it himself—that was the kind of dumb thing Wrath would do. Testing the ga chanics was Greed’s style, not the style of “Jealousy.”

Besides, he was a bit worried this might affect his perfect clearance rating.

He had his own thods. These scum had fitting ways to die.

He tried stepping out and found that once he left the cell, the restrictions lifted, and he could use items from his inventory again.

The cell door shut automatically behind him, and Lu Ce instantly transford into the image of a prison guard.

“Dmbss. Brain like a rock, muscles just as average. Didn’t even realize I could shapeshift?”

He casually threw in a curse at the guard on his way out.

At that mont, the guards probably hadn’t realized the ss this guy in the Pink Mask was about to unleash.

As he stepped out of the cell, Lu Ce turned his head and saw a prisoner walking out from the next cell over.

He imdiately shouted in a commanding tone:

“Back inside!”

The prisoner froze, just having stretched lazily, then imdiately slumped and turned his head with a bewildered look at the “guard.”

“O-okay, okay!”

The authority of the guards was still quite effective—the prisoner instantly retreated into the cell.

Just a mont ago, this god of plague had dragged soone who looked half-dead past here. Now he was back already?

Did he learn teleportation or sothing?

Wait—sothing’s off!

Halfway back, the prisoner started to feel sothing wasn’t right. Didn’t they just say it was recreation ti?

“Uh, sir...” The prisoner turned and asked hesitantly, “Didn’t you just say it’s rec ti...?”

“Didn’t you hear ?!”

A furious roar ca, and the prisoner instantly shut up, nodding and backing off quickly.

In this prison, it was best not to think about disobeying the guards. That was a hard rule for everyone here.

“Wait, stop right there.” Lu Ce called from behind.

Prisoner: ?

What’s with this guy today?!

He turned around, forcing a smile uglier than crying and said flatteringly,

“Sir... what’s wrong? I haven’t done anything lately, and my sentence isn’t even that serious.”

“Cut the crap. Just answer my question.” The tall figure of the fake guard stepped forward and looked down at him. “Tell —where’s the Know-it-All?”

“Huh?” The prisoner was stunned. Why ask sothing like that?

But now was not the ti to question anything. He could only point to a room in the distance and say,

“In that room over there. Why?”

“Who usually goes to see him?” Lu Ce asked.

At those words, the prisoner instantly panicked, imagining a whole drama in his head.

The Know-it-All was a gray-area figure in the prison.

If prisoners wanted secret info, contraband, or even plans to escape, they went to him.

But for so reason, the guards and even the warden turned a blind eye to it. Now, suddenly, he was being asked about it?

“Sir, I’ve never gone to him, I swear!” the prisoner quickly said.

Lu Ce: ?

“Who asked you that?!”

Under Lu Ce’s nacing stare and intimidation, the prisoner nervously spilled the general situation.

Basically, the Know-it-All was soone who could “make things happen” inside.

After understanding the situation, Lu Ce’s mind churned with sches. He nodded, then grabbed the prisoner and tossed him back into his room.

After what happened today, that guy probably wouldn’t dare step out for days.

Lu Ce turned and headed to the Know-it-All’s room.

If he was going to escape, if he was going to make moves, then of course he had to go see the key figure.

He’d already tested out the guards. The warden could wait. Now it was ti for the Know-it-All.

He reached the door and pushed it open.

The wooden door led to a hallway, and at the end was a reinforced tal door.

Lu Ce walked up to it. As he walked, his body rapidly shrank and twisted, his face morphing into another person.

It was the image of a woman—the only female form in this world he could reliably replicate.

—Xie Antong.

His mask and face lded and reshaped into the form of a helt-wearing woman.

But the body transformation was a bit sloppy since Lu Ce wasn’t very familiar with her physique.

He glanced down, and that delicate face curled into an obviously disgusted expression.

“Height’s about right. Put on the clothes and it's done. Can’t really change the... specifics anyway.”

“Close enough. This chick’s a pain. Why did she have to be born a woman? Should’ve switched genders from the start.”

Muttering nonstop, “Xie Antong” reached the tal door.

She knocked gently.

After a few seconds, the door slid open from both sides, revealing a classical-looking study inside, with a middle-aged man seated at the desk.

“You’re the Know-it-All?” Lu Ce, disguised as Xie Antong, stepped in and asked directly.

The man looked up and saw a new face—and a woman at that—his eyes lit up instantly.

“You new here?”

“What’s it to you? Mind your own business. When I ask, just answer. Don’t act all curious. I’ve been here ten years, so what?”

As she spoke, “Xie Antong” strode forward and sat down boldly in front of the desk, even throwing one leg over the other.

“Got anything to drink? I’m dying of thirst.”
