The entire curved corridor presented a striking scene: at one end stood Lu Ce and the stunned princess by her doorway, flanked by two elite guards, while at the opposite end lood the lawless Sun with another guard.
Sun's ferocious grin montarily froze before twisting into sothing even more manic.
"Uniform violation! As an attendant—"
The nearby guard raised his hand and barked, his eyes flashing with the sa red glow another attendant had shown upon seeing Lu Ce earlier, stepping forward aggressively.
Though his physical form showed no visible changes, there was an undeniable sense of his body becoming denser, heavier.
But before he could finish speaking or take more than one step, a massive fireball smashed directly into his face!
BOOM!
The violent explosion filled the entire corridor, molten flas instantly lting and shattering the surrounding walls and floor. The entire palace seed to tremble as the guard instinctively crossed his arms defensively, only to be sent flying backward by the fireball's impact, rapidly disappearing from Lu Ce's view.
—As if swatted away like a fly!
The opulent palace now bore a charred, rough-hewn pathway where luxurious decor had been, exposing scorched brown walls beneath.
Sun didn't even glance at his victim. His attacks never held back, and he possessed absolute confidence in himself.
After this initial strike, he imdiately turned to face Lu Ce.
"Hah! The sneaky rat still dares show his face before !"
With barely concealed hostility, flas erupted across his body as the familiar fiery armor from their last encounter materialized, encasing him completely.
Only the palace's vast interior could accommodate this fiery colossus, who now literally looked down upon even the tallest guards.
Without a second's hesitation, he charged toward Lu Ce with thunderous steps.
The decorative fountains and statues lining the room blurred past in his peripheral vision as he closed the distance in re breaths, arriving before Lu Ce in an instant.
The princess stood frozen; she'd never witnessed such violence within her palace walls.
The two doorway guards initially hesitated before recognizing the severity of the situation. One blew a piercing whistle that triggered the palace's tremor-based alarm system.
Together they rushed toward this rule-breaking attendant, though ironically, the enforcers now appeared more like challengers facing so demonic overlord.
Lu Ce remained motionless on the steps, observing the guards' assault on Sun with the princess behind him, looking down at the scene like a king amused by an overambitious challenger.
Sun's flaming head tilted upward, his fiery visage forming a deranged grin as he maintained eye contact solely with Lu Ce.
The golden mask and fire giant's locked gaze made the princess dizzy with confusion—what was happening today?
The guards coordinated perfectly, striking simultaneously from left and right with terrifying force aid at Sun's abdon.
Lu Ce knew Sun's weakness lay in his seemingly powerful but actually fragile close-quarters combat!
But this ti, Sun deliberately didn't dodge!
THOOM!
A drum-like impact echoed as the combined punches bent Sun double, even lifting him off his feet!
Yet Lu Ce's sharp eyes noticed the fla armor rippling like water across its surface—completely different from last ti's solid plating.
Sun's muffled chuckle ca through the flas as he used the montum to grab both guards' heads, instantly igniting them with a horrific sizzle and accompanying screams.
Their faces imdiately bore seared palm prints where flesh had flash-dried, like deflated rubber balls.
Enraged by this first exchange, the guards shook free and launched a frenzied counterattack.
But Sun had no interest in them—after shoving them aside, he charged through the gap straight toward Lu Ce.
The princess gasped, hand covering her mouth as she retreated a step, staring in shock at the golden figure before her who stood unmoving as a mountain.
She'd never seen anyone assault the guards like this—would this madman get himself killed?
Sun rocketed toward Lu Ce like a missile, his entire being focused solely on that golden mask. This punch would land, no matter what!
His massive fist swung through the air toward Lu Ce's head as the two guards grabbed his legs from behind.
Even they seed unprepared for this sudden escalation—this wasn't gradual tension building but an imdiate explosive confrontation.
Typical of the fastest ga-clearer's combat tempo.
Sun's devastating punch finally arrived.
"You—" The princess couldn't help speaking up, seeing Lu Ce remain motionless.
But to Lu Ce's eyes, this already-fading strike posed no threat.
At the last possible mont, he raised two fingers.
Just two fingers!
Yet they stopped Sun's unstoppable fist dead in its tracks!!!
The princess's pupils contracted violently, her entire body trembling as she whipped her head around to stare at the golden mask in utter disbelief.
