They had all underestimated this big-bearded fellow!
Although underestimating a Hell Mode judge—an existence openly described as Divine ssenger-level—was sowhat abstract.
But the fact remained: none of them, in any prior stage of the ga, would have thought this was the true form of a “god.”
What does a god’s true body represent?
It ans a death-trap guaranteed to kill!
Perfect Life had once co into close contact with Despair and knew what that feeling was—an overwhelming helplessness that surged into his chest.
Even courage carved into one’s genes can be crushed by despair.
One who walks by the river often will get his shoes wet.
Had Sin’s uniquely reckless thod of clearing things finally stumbled onto sothing like this?
In Dragon Group’s basent, the Grand Elder sat alone, muttering to himself:
“How could this be....”
“At this ti? It shouldn’t be......”
“It should be far from ti yet, no—this isn’t right...but He wouldn’t speak nonsense....”
Beneath his black cloak, his body began to tremble violently, suffering as if he were being sifted like chaff.
Beads of sweat the size of soybeans rolled down his forehead nonstop; in the empty basent, no one knew what he was enduring.
His facial expression twisted and contorted. If Xie Antong could see him now, she would surely be shocked—this expression of the Grand Elder was eerily similar to how she, Lu Ce, and Pleasure had looked when they fought for control of the body.
“This isn’t right......”
“This isn’t right!!”
......
In the Boiling Oil Cauldron Hell, only the sizzling of hot oil could be heard, like it was searing people’s souls.
Club Ace had never felt his existence so tornted. It seed this “god” had co specifically to deal with the opposing “Sin.”
Yet he still felt restless, wanting to leave but unable to.
He had once been holding his four golden knives, but now they were all lowered—he had lost any intention of continuing the fight.
In fact, he didn’t recall ever hearing the na Judgnt before, but that didn’t matter; there were many nas he hadn’t heard.
Suddenly, a deafening laughter erupted in the room.
That laughter ca from Gluttony, accompanied by the berserk power he now possessed, raging through the space and stirring ripples through the scalding oil.
Having finally seen this fellow, Gluttony could no longer restrain himself. His raging energy exploded without reservation; his body stopped sealing anything back.
Even the laughter made listeners’ eardrums ache.
Judgnt: ?
He didn’t quite understand what this man was laughing at.
“Good! Good! Good! I knew it! I guessed right!”
“So many treats.”
“What are you talking about?” Judgnt replied sowhat oddly.
Gluttony was beginning to go a bit mad—his cracked hands clutching his head as he spun, saying:
“I never expected that with my face coming out for the first ti, I’d get a taste of a god.”
“Although it should be the weakest kind, it’s still very nice, very nice......”
How do you already know it’s the weakest on first glance?
And weak or not, that’s a true god—are you trying to eat it?
In a dozen other rooms, players stared at the Boiling Oil Cauldron Hell screen like they were watching a madman, looking at soone who seed to have completely lost his mind.
Suddenly, Gluttony—who had been flopping about—shot up, his body arching like a giant bow, both fists raised high!
Then, as a venting of power, he slamd them down hard into the ground!
Boom!
A faint purple glow spread from his fists. The “pot” that made up the floor of the Boiling Oil Cauldron Hell shattered into pieces in an instant! The cracks even crept up the surrounding walls.
That strike seed driven by a fury that wanted to crush the entire boiling-oil chamber.
The shockwave swept all the oil in the room, surging like waves toward the walls, forcing it back through the small holes in the walls!
A piercing sound from highly compressed air filled the room, and the entire Boiling Oil Cauldron Hell was abruptly emptied.
Residual liquid on the ground was instantly vaporized by the violent energy, as if nothing had ever occurred.
Everything in the room was destroyed, leaving only fissures across the floor, like the aftermath of an earthquake.
Club Ace stood quietly at the edge of the wall, mouth agape, his jaw practically dropping.
Does he... have this kind of power?
He didn’t feel it in any previous move!
Judgnt’s face showed little reaction, only a slight narrowing of eyes.
“Ha!”
Lu Ce let out a heavy breath. This punch was purely for release—he had suppressed himself for so long and could finally erupt without restraint.
The burst felt exhilarating; even his mind cleared a little.
“If you’re ready......”
Before he could finish, Lu Ce’s body, now out of control, lunged forward. The recoil of his feet tore the battered ground anew.
He turned himself into a cannonball and collided with Judgnt.
Thud!
A heavy muffled sound accompanied the unfinished end of his sentence.
“Then let’s begin.”
A ring of air surged outward from their point of impact, and a few cracks appeared on Judgnt’s hard tungsten armor.
Gluttony himself was also hurled away by the counterforce, bouncing off the rear wall and collapsing to the ground.
He pushed off the floor and imdiately charged again with no pause, aiming once more at the cracked section of the tungsten armor.
This ti, he smashed forward head-first, mouth wide open.
Judgnt was gathering a tungsten rod in his hand, while tungsten from other rooms flowed in continuously to replenish His armor.
But now, there wasn’t ti to fully restore it.
Gluttony ramd his head straight into it; that huge mouth made no doubt about its own hardness and drove into the tungsten gap!
In that instant, pale-blue currents of energy stread along his teeth into Gluttony’s body, and he began another round of frenzied devouring.
Judgnt, annoyed, slapped forcefully to knock the troubleso fellow off Himself.
Looking at the fissure on Gluttony and the blue light emanating from within, He laughed with anger.
“Eating what you shouldn’t, you’re one step away from bursting.”
“Everything you do now is only accelerating your own death.”
The Gluttony who had been flung landed, wobbled, and rose again.
“Familiar words—looks like you’re the third to tell I’ll burst from overeating.”
“The first two I didn’t get to taste, but you... are indeed quite good.”
“Eat until you’re full... and you’ll never starve by night!”
