An Yiqing turned to see who it was, and the visitor turned out to be Duan Jingning’s third son, Duan Ziqing!
With a slight raise of her brows, An Yiqing discreetly sized up Duan Ziqing. Wearing a white polo shirt on top, white trousers below, and beige handcrafted leather shoes, his outfit clearly suggested high value. For so reason, An Yiqing always associated Duan Ziqing with Guh Siqi. She felt these two were quite similar, both exuding a certain playboy air. "Miss An just arrived in Ye City, unfamiliar with many places, do you need to act as a guide for a night tour?" Duan Ziqing deliberately emphasized the words "night tour", his light and slow intonation lending a hint of ambiguity.
Such an enticing man proposing such a tempting invitation, most won find it hard to refuse.
However, with Gu Yelin by An Yiqing’s side, and Bai Yiming, that pure fairy often around, how could she be bewitched by soone as juvenile as Duan Ziqing?
"Mr. Duan, there’s no need to worry. I happened to visit Ye City five years ago, more familiar than you might imagine. Furthermore, even if I got lost, there’s sothing called navigation now, I know how to use it." An Yiqing looked at the handso face before her with calm eyes, feeling no discomfort or embarrassnt.
A strange light flashed in Duan Ziqing’s eyes as he lazily straightened up, his gaze still fixed on An Yiqing’s face.
"I was hoping to enjoy so ti with Miss An, seems it’s a pity indeed! Such a beauty...
Before he could finish, a door to a private room in the hallway opened, and a sweet-looking young woman stepped out.
Her eyes first showed surprise upon seeing Duan Ziqing, then she froze upon noticing An Yiqing, her eyes slightly flickering.
"Ziqing, why did it take you so long to have a cigarette? Who is this?" The young woman displayed a sweet smile, lightly skipping towards Duan Ziqing, familiarly embracing his arm, her eyes questioning as she looked at An Yiqing.
"Why did you co out? I was just having a cigarette, not running away!" Duan Ziqing seed rather impatient with this woman, furrowing his brows as he pulled his arm from her embrace.
The woman looked sowhat aggrieved, casting a resentful glance at Duan Ziqing, then shyly looking at An Yiqing, "Ziqing, with soone here, why do you love bullying ?"
The impatient Duan Ziqing shot the woman a glance, then suddenly turned to look at An Yiqing, an unexplained gleam flashing in his eyes.
An Yiqing, who had remained silent, caught the expression in Duan Ziqing’s eyes, and a bad feeling rose in her chest, prompting her to raise her foot to leave.
However, Duan Ziqing saw through An Yiqing’s intention, sidestepping to lead the young woman to block An Yiqing’s path.
"Yanran, didn’t you want to know who she is? Let tell you, she’s not an outsider, she’s the one my old man introduced to ..." Duan Ziqing deliberately elongated his words, causing Yanran’s face to noticeably cool.
At the sa ti, An Yiqing’s pretty face darkened.
"Mr. Duan, what do you an by this?"
Before An Yiqing’s words settled, Yanran’s scream broke out.
"Ziqing, how could you let Uncle Duan introduce a girlfriend to you?! How does this woman deserve you?!"
The woman’s scream was piercingly loud, and An Yiqing frowned, uncomfortably touching her ear. anwhile, the fiery-tempered Ruan Xue, hearing her insult An Yiqing, raised her brow sharply.
"What are you saying, woman? What’s wrong with my Xiao Qing? How is she worse than you? You treat that pretty boy like a treasure, we don’t care for him, alright?! Really, just trying to have a al, and always encountering such dimwitted people!"
"Who are you calling dimwitted?!" Yanran widened her eyes, ready to move in for a fight.
An Yiqing stopped Yanran, coldly looking at the indifferent Duan Ziqing. Clearly, the trouble stirred by this man, he had no intention of resolving.
At this mont, a graceful figure slowly erged from the private room.
"What’s going on? What happened? Ziqing, Yanran, why are you both arguing?"
The voice matched its owner, gentle and pleasing, its speaker also a top-tier beauty. Standing at 1.7 ters, her figure was slender and exquisitely shaped, her looks though not as striking as An Yiqing’s, were outstanding among won nonetheless.
