The elderly man’s hair was half white, his skin a wheat color, and his eyes sharp and full of spirit. He was tall, clad in a deep green military uniform, with black knee-high combat boots on his feet. The whole person looked magnificent and full of vigor, like a general with years of battlefield experience, whose re glance could unhorse an enemy.

Behind him stood a middle-aged man and a boy, both with fair skin. The boy especially looked small and thin, and though obviously a boy, seed as delicate as a girl. Observant people watched for a while and noticed these three n bore so resemblance, suggesting they were related by blood.

Just then, soone remarked, "King Xinsheng is here too!"

A gasp rippled through the crowd, as they looked at the general in front of them and slowly linked him with the legend of the decisive and ruthless King Xinsheng.

After more than ten days of bed rest, aided by An Yiqing’s spiritual dicine, Peng Shaohe’s gunshot wound was almost healed. If not for his son and grandson keeping him from running around, he would have already explored the entire Country Fei Public Disk given his restless nature.

"So! Country Fei Public Disk really has so nerve! I haven’t been here for over ten days, yet soone dares to bully my granddaughter!" Peng Shaohe snorted coldly, his sharp eagle eyes sweeping over the crowd before resting his icy gaze on ng Po.

In an instant, ng Po felt his blood freeze. King Xinsheng, seasoned in battle, had a murderous gaze not everyone could endure.

The crowd erupted in shock at Peng Shaohe’s words.

"Granddaughter? Does King Xinsheng have a granddaughter?"

"I’ve never heard of that—I thought he only had a grandson?"

The murmuring crowd failed to notice An Yiqing’s expression upon hearing the word "granddaughter," as she twitched her mouth and rolled her eyes fiercely.

"Old Peng, don’t you have any sha? You already have a grandson, why claim another granddaughter! When did Xiao Qing agree to be your granddaughter?!" Duan Jingning was invigorated by Peng Shaohe’s arrival, shouting at him.

"Buzz off! Girl Qing is my lifesaver, I’ve decided she’s my granddaughter! I’ve even prepared the recognition banquet at ho; as long as Xiao Qing agrees, she can have free reign in Xin Sheng!"

The crowd’s minds were spinning like a whirlwind, finally deducing the situation from Duan Jingning’s dialogue with Peng Shaohe, all looking at Peng Shaohe in disbelief.

What kind of status does King Xinsheng hold? Calling him a king of a small nation wouldn’t be far off, yet he intends to acknowledge An Yiqing as his granddaughter?!

Under the shocked eyes of everyone, Peng Shaohe, alongside his son and grandson, strode towards the Stone-Cutting Table. Despite his age, Peng Shaohe walked with vigorous vigor, his long strides matching two steps for his son, forcing the slender Peng Ze to jog to keep up.

The Stone-Cutting Table was very quiet, An Yiqing remained silent, so Zhang Yusheng and the others kept quiet as well. As for ng Po’s side, they were naturally intimidated by Peng Shaohe’s presence.

"Hahaha, Girl Qing! It’s been a few days since I’ve seen you, how did you end up being bullied like this?!" Peng Shaohe climbed the steps in just a few strides, laughing as he approached An Yiqing, jesting at her.

An Yiqing shook her head reluctantly, "Grandpa Peng, please don’t tease , is your injury healed? Weren’t you told to rest for a few more days?"

"Hey! My body is as strong as a bull’s, it’s just a minor injury! Peng Ze’s dad locked up at ho for days, and I’m nearly rotting away!" Peng Shaohe turned to glare at Peng Ze’s father Peng Tian, grumbling.

Peng Tian’s face showed a bitter smile, shrugging helplessly at An Yiqing, expressing his frustration with his old mischievous father’s antics.

"Uncle Peng, hello." An Yiqing politely bowed slightly, greeting him.

Peng Tian nodded with a smile, having had a very good impression of An Yiqing since the last banquet.

"Sister Xiao Qing, Grandpa said soone bullied you, who was it?" Peng Ze, ignoring formalities, ran over to An Yiqing, pulling her hand and pouting. Standing behind An Yiqing, Gu Yelin’s gaze sank, his eyes fixed intensely on Peng Ze’s hand.

"No one bullied , your grandpa is speaking nonsense." An Yiqing patted Peng Ze’s head, smiling wryly towards Peng Shaohe, "Grandpa Peng, who said I was bullied?"
