Though it was a question, An Yiqing’s actions showed no hesitation. She quickly walked over to ng Po’s stone-cutting table. Before anyone could react, her right hand flashed, and two pieces of already cut waste stone skins fell into her hand. She opened a small porcelain bottle in her right hand and poured its contents over the waste stone skins.
ng Po was shocked, losing the calm deanor he had monts ago. He quickly activated his inner breath, attempting to dash forward to stop An Yiqing’s actions.
However, ng Po, who was only halfway enlightened, was no match for An Yiqing. Zhang Yufeng, who had been acting as an invisible person beside An Yiqing, suddenly appeared, stretched his long legs, and kicked ng Po three ters away.
At the sa ti, An Yiqing accurately poured the transparent liquid from the porcelain bottle onto the two pieces of waste stone skin. Three seconds later, under everyone’s watchful eyes, the two ordinary stone skins that were just yellow-brown quickly turned into deep pink!
Everyone gasped, rubbing their eyes hard, unable to believe what they were seeing.
Watching the waste stone skins turn pink, An Yiqing smiled knowingly, and she turned to walk toward the other few unopened raw materials. She gently dripped a drop of liquid from the porcelain bottle onto each piece of raw material. A few seconds later, the three complete raw materials, whether black or yellow-brown, all turned pink!
An Yiqing nodded in satisfaction, pleased with the little invention she had researched. She leisurely closed the porcelain bottle, holding it in her hand, and lifted her head to look at the gray-faced ng Po.
"Mr. ng Po, do you still have anything to say now? Didn’t you say my raw materials were bad? Didn’t you swap my raw materials because you were afraid I’d lose too terribly? How co the low-grade goods you despise turned into treasures for you? Tsk tsk, Old Pit Glass Type Imperial Green, Top-grade Blue Spirit. Mr. ng Po, not only is your stone gambling technique superb, but your lying skills are even more impressive!"
The hall was eerily silent, everyone watching An Yiqing and ng Po with wide eyes and jaws dropped. The situation suddenly took a dramatic reversal, ng Po not only swapped An Yiqing’s raw materials but also shalessly used the raw materials he stole from her to try to win the contest. Damn, how thick-skinned must one be to pull off such a shaless act? And he played everyone like a fiddle!
The people who felt deceived felt like monkeys, completely played by ng Po. Forget about the high and mighty aristocratic families finding such behavior unbearable, even ordinary folks would want to go up and punch him a few tis.
ng Po sat on the ground, face gray with despair, surrounded by glares of anger and disgust that seed like daggers piercing his dignity, leaving him utterly ruined.
A chill suddenly rose in his heart, a bad premonition lingering in his mind—this might be the last of his glory.
With a violent shiver, ng Po snapped out of his daze. He struggled to stand, looking at An Yiqing with malice, his eyes seeming to want to tear her apart.
"These are all your tricks! That potion must have a problem! Yes! It turns any raw material pink when applied!" ng Po seed to see a glimr of hope, grabbing the last straw desperately.
An Yiqing smiled at him, slowly walked down the stone-cutting table, casually picked a few discarded raw materials in the hall.
The small porcelain bottle was opened, and the colorless transparent liquid dripped onto the stone skin. One second... two seconds... three seconds...
A whole minute passed, and there was no reaction on the stone skins of several raw materials. Except for the mark left by the fallen liquid, there was no pink change.
An Yiqing’s gesture completely dispelled the last traces of doubt in everyone’s hearts. Such iron-clad evidence, everyone finally understood who the despicable person really was!
The last glimr of light in ng Po’s eyes completely extinguished, leaving only a dead silence. He could fully imagine what kind of consequences awaited him.
Swapping, deceiving everyone, turning black into white, these were enough to make him lose all people’s admiration and trust!
"Adoptive Father, as long as the green hills remain, there’s no fear of running out of firewood, let’s leave." Qiu Qingran stepped forward to hold ng Po’s arm, ready to lead him out.
ng Po knew it was unwise to stay, so he simply complied with Qiu Qingran’s suggestion, pretending to be heartbroken and ready to leave.
Unexpectedly, An Yiqing’s voice rang out once more, sounding like a nightmare to ng Po.
"Mr. ng Po, the contest is not over yet, you’re leaving now?"
ng Po paused, hanging his head and not looking back. Qiu Qingran gently patted ng Po’s hand, turned her icy face to look at An Yiqing.
"Miss An, forgive when possible. No matter what my adoptive father did, the ultimate winner is you. What more do you want?"
"Forgive when possible?" An Yiqing raised an eyebrow, a sneer passing through her eyes as she looked at Qiu Qingran. "Miss Qiu Qingran, if I were the one who lost today, would your adoptive father forgive ?"
Qiu Qingran was montarily speechless. If An Yiqing lost today, jumping like a frog around Yushi City’s plaza was inevitable. Forgive when possible? That phrase isn’t even in her adoptive father’s dictionary!
"Miss An, you’ve already won, the title of Jade King is yours. The fa and admiration are all yours. Now my adoptive father is just a pitiful old man, what more do you want to corner him for?" Qiu Qingran’s face was cold, her voice gentle yet surprisingly assertive, as if An Yiqing was really being too ruthless about this.
