Unexpectedly, fate works in such mysterious ways. Just as An Yiqing finished investigating Long Jing’s background, this woman appeared.
Indeed, just like the woman in the photo, her eyes were filled with wild arrogance, looking at An Yiqing as if she were an ant, full of disdain and contempt, even looking at An Yiqing as if she were looking at trash.
Slightly frowning, An Yiqing felt very uncomfortable with Long Jing’s gaze. Arrogance she could accept, disdain and contempt were also fine, but looking at her like trash, what did that an?
What about her appearance made this woman dislike her?
"What do you want?" Long Jing suddenly spoke, her voice as cold as her appearance, like a nopausal woman with a frigid deanor.
"Miss," An Yiqing suddenly smiled, instantly blossoming like flowers, even making Long Jing pause for a mont.
"Miss, are you in a hurry?"
Long Jing was stunned, quickly regained her composure, with a hint of annoyance in her eyes, annoyed at herself for being dazzled by this delicate lady’s smile.
"My ti is very precious, very urgent." She said coldly, haughtily, almost tilting her nose upwards at An Yiqing as if she could snort a few breaths of cold air.
"Oh, in a hurry!" An Yiqing nodded thoughtfully, then suddenly smiled again, "Then why don’t you just fly over?"
Long Jing experienced a montary shock, having never imagined soone would be so disrespectful, talking to her like that. Even the soldier standing guard at the gate gave a slight shake of the head, seemingly bewildered by An Yiqing’s words.
"What do you an?!" Long Jing was a bit angry, feeling her dignity had been challenged.
"Can’t you figure out what I an?" An Yiqing still smiled gracefully, "This entrance is only so big, I want to reverse, but you won’t move, instead you keep honking. Since you’re in such a hurry and won’t let back out, then you can only fly over. Miss, is my logic flawed?"
The soldier standing guard gave another shake of his head, his frostbitten red face deepening in color. Long Jing experienced her third mont of shock, seemingly trapped in An Yiqing’s bizarre logic.
"Miss, this young lady, can you reverse now? If you’re still not planning to back out, then I’ll abandon the car and take the bus, and as for you, you’ll indeed have to fly over!" An Yiqing continued rcilessly, each statent stabbing at Long Jing like little knives.
As for the poor soldier, his face had turned a shade of red-purple. If he weren’t currently on duty, An Yiqing was certain, the soldier would have collapsed in laughter at the gate of the special forces unit.
"You..." Long Jing regained her senses, casting an angry glare at An Yiqing, her pretty face as cold as ice, "Who are you? Who sent you here? Is this a place you can just co and go as you please? Do you have a pass?"
Long Jing fired off a series of questions like a rapid-fire gun, clearly asking as a rhetorical exercise. If An Yiqing had a pass, would she still be standing here braving the cold with her?
"First, I don’t have a pass. Second, does who I am matter to you? Third, does who sent here matter to you? Third, does why I’m here matter to you?" An Yiqing rolled her eyes, wondering if Long Jing’s intelligence and emotional quotient were sowhat lacking. Could it be that investigating enemy situations too much had turned her life into a conspiracy theory?
Long Jing was suddenly speechless, An Yiqing was right. Who he is, why he’s here, who sent her, indeed had nothing to do with her. But Long Jing just couldn’t stand An Yiqing’s nonchalant attitude. She’s obviously soone useless, so why was she so indifferent?!
"If you can’t give a reasonable explanation, I can treat you as a spy and handle you accordingly. This is Xuanjin’s special forces unit; you might very well be a spy sent by another country. I am now seriously questioning your identity and wish to arrest you!" With that, before An Yiqing could react, Long Jing jumped out of the car, pulling out a shiny pair of handcuffs.
Handcuff in left hand, Long Jing’s right hand lunged at An Yiqing’s wrist with unbelievable speed. If the opponent were an ordinary person, without any ti to react, they would definitely find themselves handcuffed.
But, is An Yiqing just any person? Or, is An Yiqing an ordinary person?
