Chapter 1862: Chapter 462: Avalanche!
In the kitchen, An Yiqing hugged Gu Yelin from behind, sticking to him like gum.
Gu Yelin, who was chopping vegetables, kept a faint smile at the corner of his mouth, letting An Yiqing cling to him like a koala.

The young couple fussed around in the kitchen for quite a while, finally completing breakfast. Laughing and talking, they opened the kitchen door, coincidentally seeing Zhou Xiaoyu standing outside.
“Xiao Yoo? Have you eaten yet? Where are they?” An Yiqing was a bit surprised; when she opened the kitchen door just now, she seed to notice a peculiar look in Zhou Xiaoyu’s eyes.
Was it a trick of the light?
“Oh, they all went out to have breakfast.” Imrsed in thought, Zhou Xiaoyu returned to reality, smiled at An Yiqing, but her gaze fell on Gu Yelin. When she went out with An Yiqing before, she’d seen this man and never could forget him.
“What about you? Why didn’t you go with them?” An Yiqing cheerfully took the dishes from Gu Yelin and placed them on the table, sowhat embarrassed as she said to Zhou Xiaoyu, “I was so caught up chatting with Ah Lin, I didn’t even know you were here, didn’t bring your portion. How about this, anyway, I can’t finish this sandwich, split half with you?”
Zhou Xiaoyu’s heart delighted, just about to nod in agreent, but Gu Yelin suddenly walked over from behind her, bringing a chill.
“Tutu, I didn’t eat anything all day yesterday.”
“How could you be so busy?” An Yiqing furrowed her brow, insisting on pulling Gu Yelin to a chair, then dividing her sandwich in half, placing the larger portion on Gu Yelin’s plate, “No starving from now on, no matter how busy you are, you have to eat properly.”
After saying this, she looked apologetically at Zhou Xiaoyu: “Xiao Yoo, I’m so sorry, how about I check the kitchen and make you sothing?”
“Tutu, are you trying to blow up this lodge?” Gu Yelin remarked faintly.
An Yiqing, sowhat embarrassed, rubbed her nose, rembering the disaster she caused in the kitchen before, indeed, this lodge might have a chance of being obliterated.
With no choice, An Yiqing had to give up the idea of making breakfast for Zhou Xiaoyu.
“There’s a restaurant outside the villa, Gu Tingting and the others are there.” Gu Yelin added another sentence.
With things stated so clearly, Zhou Xiaoyu couldn’t stay any longer. She hurriedly bid farewell to An Yiqing, her smile stiffening as she left the villa.
Watching Zhou Xiaoyu’s departing figure, An Yiqing gently frowned.
“She won’t think I intentionally didn’t invite her to eat, will she?” Shaking her head, An Yiqing tried to discard her negative suspicions toward Zhou Xiaoyu.
Gu Yelin said nothing; he wouldn’t tell An Yiqing how nacing Zhou Xiaoyu’s eyes were at that mont when he blocked An Yiqing from the kitchen.
“Eat quickly; if it gets cold, you’ll get a stomachache.”
After breakfast, An Yiqing brought Gu Yelin to join Gu Tingting and the others. Today’s weather was exceptionally good; clear and windless, perfectly suited for skiing.
Everyone played all morning, took a nap in the afternoon, and the refreshed group decided to experience night skiing.
“I’ve skied at night a few tis before; it’s different from dayti. It’s not peak season now, so there aren’t many tourists at the lodge, just the right ti for us to have fun!” Wearing a red ski suit, Ruan Xue spun around stylishly, looking at the snow-covered mountains in the night, her face full of anticipation.

“I say, won’t there be an avalanche this late?… ” Gu Tingting worriedly glanced at the rolling snow-capped mountains in the darkness, as scenes from novels and TV dramas she’d watched before popped into her mind, avalanches, tornadoes, earthquakes; the more she thought, the more scared she beca.
“Don’t jinx it; this place is safe; they’ve said there’s never been an avalanche here in twenty years.” Ruan Xue glared at Gu Tingting, speaking harshly.
Gu Tingting pursed her lips, still feeling anxious. She’s timid, her skill isn’t high, her skiing technique isn’t good, if an avalanche really happened, wouldn’t her life just be over?
