The Genesis Team ca in second, with nineteen point three points.
Tied for second with the Genesis Team was the dicine Sect, also with nineteen point three points.
Following them, the fourth, fifth, and sixth places belonged to several strong teams from the previous rounds. So far, no dark horse has erged to challenge the standings.
After the results were announced, the judges declared the event over. Instantly, everyone’s nerves relaxed.
The guests began to leave, and it was already past eight in the evening, and stomachs were growling with hunger.
Feeling a bit fatigued, An Yiqing sat in the chair, with the rest of the dicine Sect not moving either. Not only them, but other competitors also seed sowhat exhausted after a tense day.
At this mont, a purple figure bounced energetically towards An Yiqing; it was Ruan Xue.
"Why haven’t you two gone back yet?" An Yiqing was surprised to see Ruan Xue and Xia Hau behind her, "It’s so late, why are you still here?"
"Going back would be boring. Bali said we could take a few days off, and the two of them wanted to see how the Satan Association was doing," Ruan Xue explained, as it was essential for the Blood Clan-backed dical Association to show concern.
An Yiqing thought it made sense, checked the ti, stretched, and stood up, "Let’s go, I can’t take you out to eat today. The hotel’s food is decent; I’ll treat you to whatever you want."
Ruan Xue giggled, nodding repeatedly.
In the anti, Gu Yelin also walked over, and Bali and Eddie followed with Ruan Xue and Xia Hau. Not only them, Bai Yiming and Duan Tang also ca over to join the fun. The group, including the dicine Sect brothers, headed boisterously towards the restaurant.
The dishes at Xuandu Grand Hotel were considered top-notch, but since An Yiqing had tasted Gu Yelin’s cooking, she had beco picky. The chefs’ skills felt just average to her. However, the others, who had been hungry all day, were devouring their food voraciously.
"Xiao Xue said you’ve managed to control your energy?" An Yiqing, not one to avoid talking while eating, asked Xia Hau.
"Mmm, it’s okay." Xia Hau responded vaguely between wolfing down his food.
An Yiqing twitched her mouth, seeing how hungry he looked, decided not to ask further out of consideration.
Earlier this morning, Gu Yelin had given her a packed lunch. After finishing surgery, she found a mont to eat it all, so she wasn’t very hungry now. After eating a little, she put down her chopsticks.
Usually, the restaurant at the hotel was fairly quiet. But today, with everyone ravenously hungry, they had abandoned manners and were eating with abandon. The restaurant was filled with the clattering of dishes.
An Yiqing rested her chin on her hand, looking around curiously.
Suddenly, she frowned and turned around to look back.
She felt like several gazes were constantly fixed on this area. Initially, she thought she was being sensitive, but after several minutes, the feeling hadn’t faded.
Turning around, An Yiqing scanned the tables behind them until her gaze settled on one.
It was an eight-person table with six n and two won. An Yiqing recognized them; they were today’s champions, the Divine Institute Team from Divine Country.
Those gazes must have been from these people.
An Yiqing squinted, scanning the eight people repeatedly. She had a feeling the focus wasn’t on her.
On her right was Gu Yelin, to her left were Yin Xilin and Tiezhu. In front were Ruan Xue and Xia Hau, Bali, and Eddie. Yin Xilin and Tiezhu couldn’t be the targets; maybe it was Gu Yelin, Ruan, or the five of them.
"Any of you know those people at that table?" An Yiqing asked quietly.
"I don’t know them, they’re looking at Xia Hau," Gu Yelin suddenly replied.
An Yiqing was surprised, as was Xia Hau. He subtly glanced at the Divine Institute Team mbers and shook his head, puzzled.
He used to be a regular student, and he hadn’t even t many Xuanjin People, let alone foreigners.
"Haozi, are you sure you’ve never seen them before?" An Yiqing asked again.
Xia Hau frowned, thought for a while, and finally said uncertainly, "I might have bumped into them this morning, but it was just passing by, I’ve really never seen them before."
This was puzzling.
An Yiqing’s expression darkened, she turned to look at Bali and Eddie, "What about you two? Do you know them?"
"Even though they’re from that cursed Divine Country, sadly, neither Eddie nor I know them," Bali said.
Divine Country was the residence of the Pope. The church and the Blood Clan have been adversaries for centuries, so Bali and Eddie would surely recognize core church mbers. Plus, these people didn’t have a holy aura, they weren’t church mbers.
An Yiqing furrowed her brows even more.
"Hey, Xiao Qing, don’t overthink it. Maybe they’re just curious and glanced at more. Bali and Eddie are here to protect , there’s no danger," Xia Hau comforted her.
An Yiqing thought so, too. Bali and Eddie were powerful, with Six Wings and Four Wings respectively. Since Xia Hau had controlled the Purple Gold Origin Blood’s power, escaping was always an option even if they couldn’t fight.
Thinking this, An Yiqing relaxed.
After dinner, An Yiqing bid farewell to Ruan Xue and the others before leading Yin Xilin and Tiezhu towards the accommodation area. Gu Yelin had a task tonight, so he couldn’t partake in any wall-climbing antics.
All along, Yin Xilin and Tiezhu chatted and laughed, providing An Yiqing with plenty of amusent. She entered the hotel lobby laughing, but the smile vanished upon seeing the person before her.
"Master..." Yin Xilin glanced warily at the man opposite, calling out anxiously.
"Lingling, Tiezhu, you go back to your room," An Yiqing said to Yin Xilin and Tiezhu, assuming Xiao Yu was waiting for her.
Though Yin Xilin and Tiezhu wanted to stay, they knew remaining would only be a burden for An Yiqing, better to return to the room and seek help.
"Master, take care," Yin Xilin said, pulling Tiezhu away swiftly, casting a hateful look at Xiao Yu as they left. She rembered well Hanyu Sect’s intentions for her Master! Evil person!
It was already past nine at night; the lobby was nearly empty. An Yiqing gave Xiao Yu a fleeting glance, saying nothing.
"My Master wants to see you," Xiao Yu spoke first after a mont of silence.
Upon hearing this, An Yiqing raised an eyebrow, a hint of mockery at the corner of her mouth, "Mr. Xiao, I thought I made it clear last ti. Your Master isn’t an emperor, and this isn’t ancient tis. Just because he wants to see , do I have to let him?"
Xiao Yu pursed his thin lips, his gaze complex as he looked at An Yiqing.
"I’m asking you to et my Master for your own good."
