"Is it possible that Master is trying to find a Mistress?" An Yiqing’s eyes glead.
Ye Chenghong spat out a mouthful of tea, glaring at An Yiqing furiously, his nostrils flaring in anger.
"You little rascal, what nonsense are you talking about!" he grumbled, placing the teacup heavily on the table. "The dical exchange competition just concluded, and the dicine Sect has earned plenty of prestige. I discussed it with your Senior Uncles and We aim to establish a hospital school in Xuanjin. It can treat and save lives and promote the authentic Xuanjin Ancient dicine - a win-win situation."
Actually, this idea had existed a few years ago, but back then, the dicine Sect was still in a semi-secluded state, known only in the Ancient Martial World and high circles. Opening a hospital school dostically lacked public acceptance. But now it’s different. After the dical exchange competition, the dicine Sect’s reputation soared, and even common people online were requesting the dicine Sect to open a hospital to treat people.
No matter when, people generally trust authority more.
In this situation, the idea from a few years ago was put back on the agenda by Ye Chenghong and the four Great Elders.
An Yiqing lowered her gaze, quickly analyzing the pros and cons of the matter thoroughly. After a while, she looked up, right into Ye Chenghong’s eyes filled with expectation and anxiety.
Inwardly, An Yiqing smiled. Her Master completely relied on her.
"Master, this is a good thing, naturally it can be done."
Upon hearing this, Ye Chenghong imdiately felt relieved. He didn’t know when it started, but it seed as if he had turned into a little child, and his disciple’s opinion had beco the most important.
Smiling, Ye Chenghong felt reassured.
"But Master, although this is a good matter, I have a few suggestions."
Ye Chenghong nodded, "Go ahead."
An Yiqing pondered for a mont, her soft voice sounding, "The dicine Sect can open hospitals and schools, but it’s about quality, not quantity. I don’t recomnd setting up so many branch clinics like other private hospitals. More branches an more people, which also ans more complexity and challenges in managent. I think instead of opening large hospitals, we should consider clinics. Doctors should co from the dicine Sect, not accepting practitioners outside the sect. This way, both dical ethics and skills can be guaranteed. What do you think?"
Ye Chenghong nodded in strong agreent, "I’ve been thinking the sa. While with the current financial strength and fa of the dicine Sect, opening large chain hospitals would be more economically rewarding, it distorts the aim of treating and saving lives. It would be better to establish a few small clinics which would be easier to manage and maintain dical standards."
"Exactly. I initially suggest opening a clinic in Xuandu City to test the waters. After so ti, we can summarize the areas that need improvent. As for the school, Master, I suggest talking with the state. After all, the public is more receptive to schools acknowledged by the state. However, the school need not be too large. These days, most dical students view dical studies rely as a al ticket. Such individuals can go to ordinary universities. What we need are genuine doctors. Students admitted must be assessed in terms of dical ethics and character, and once approved, directly inducted into the dicine Sect. What do you think?"
Ye Chenghong’s eyes brightened as he listened and eventually slapped the table in approval. He had initially thought of opening a school to promote Xuanjin Ancient dicine, but An Yiqing’s idea not only attracted more dical practitioners but also expanded the dicine Sect’s power. Two birds with one stone, truly fantastic!
However...
Ye Chenghong suddenly frowned, "Girl, if we follow your thod, the number of talents absorbed by the school would surely be limited, making it less noticeable. Wouldn’t this affect the promotion of authentic Xuanjin Ancient dicine?"
An Yiqing glanced at Ye Chenghong and gave a mysterious smile.
"Master, there are plenty of ways to promote Xuanjin Ancient dicine. Ultimately, the primary purpose of opening the school should be to absorb talent."
"Oh? What ways?"
An Yiqing blinked, "With so many renowned schools in Xuanjin, wouldn’t it be better for Master to organize a lecture at one school every month? With the current fa of the dicine Sect, do you think any school would turn you away? Even if you started your school, how many students could you realistically enroll? One lecture a month, twelve schools in a year, countless dical students! Cherry-picking the best to impart knowledge, I believe everything exerts influence and takes effect bit by bit."
Ye Chenghong suddenly understood; his thinking had been too narrow. Going to universities to give lectures and spread the culture of ancient dicine is the best way!
"I’ll notify your four Senior Uncles imdiately to convene a eting! Let’s all discuss and study this together!"
With that, the usually composed Ye Chenghong quickly rushed out. As An Yiqing watched her master’s retreating figure, she grinned with satisfaction.
She naturally knew Ye Chenghong’s thoughts over the years, to promote the culture of ancient dicine, for everyone to acknowledge and accept ancient dicine - this had been his long-standing wish. Now, everything was ready, just waiting for that push.
The four Great Elders, upon hearing Ye Chenghong’s brief explanation, were imdiately invigorated. This usually slow-moving bunch beca suddenly brisk.
"Girl Qing! Tell us your thoughts again!" The straightforward Second Elder excitedly demanded.
The other three elders stared at An Yiqing with excitent, as if expecting her to reveal so magic.
Smiling, An Yiqing shook her head and reorganized her thoughts, recounting them verbatim to the elders.
"Good! What a great idea! Opening a school to absorb fresh blood into the dicine Sect, what a terrific plan!" The Great Elder exclaid joyfully, slapping his thigh with a wide smile.
"Indeed, why didn’t we think of the university lectures before? Young people do have inventive ideas, Girl Qing is impressive!" The Third Elder praised with a twinkle in his eye, nodding jovially at An Yiqing with a thumbs up.
The other two elders also applauded in agreent. Establishing clinics to treat and save lives. Opening a school to absorb fresh blood. University lectures to promote Xuanjin Ancient dicine.
With a three-pronged approach, the dicine Sect was ready to soar.
Thus, the decision was made. As the next Leader of the dicine Sect, An Yiqing naturally stepped forward to take charge of this matter. Of course, it wasn’t just her initiative; the dicine Sect’s disciples, such as Nie Yuan and Qin Feng, joined in upon hearing the news, each assuming a role to contribute to the establishnt of the Xuandu clinic headquarters.
In April, everything was progressing in an orderly fashion. At this ti, Gu Yelin’s Second Aunt Chen Fang, Kong Shi, and Old Lady An, along with the couple Gu Yelin and An Yiqing, were visiting several bridal studios in Xuandu City’s center, finalizing their decision for the wedding photoshoot.
