Lucifer propped his head up with one hand and sank into his mories. "You and Liam Donald were learning the string musical instrunt under the sa teacher. Liam Donald was used to being silent; how could he possibly bother to respond to you?"
At this point, Lucifer turned his head and cast a faint glance at Sophie Sullivan. "Cecilia Branford is the No.1 Beauty in Country F, and your face is inherently attractive. Probably it was because Liam Donald’s attitude toward you was different from that of other boys, so it caught your attention and...your desire to conquer."

Sitting across from her, Thomas Shannon scratched Harry’s chin with one hand and let out a scornful cold laugh. The way his eyes looked at her was so sharp it made her want to sink through the floor.
Sophie Sullivan cleared her throat lightly. "Lucifer, go on."
"Your daddy found out and went to talk to Liam Donald’s daddy. The two parents discussed it, and decided a powerful alliance through marriage was a great idea, so they agreed. After that, you two held an engagent ceremony, and Liam Donald beca your fiance."
Speaking of this, Lucifer was still secretly unwilling.
But at that ti, even though he was unwilling, he still smiled and gave his blessings.
He knew his body wasn’t good, so he even more hoped that there could be soone she genuinely liked by Cecilia Branford’s side to care for her, to accompany her through the rest of her life.
So those years, he stayed by Sophie Sullivan’s side, helping her chase Liam Donald, giving her ideas and strategies.
She really did like Liam Donald, but Liam Donald toward her...was always cold and distant.

Sophie Sullivan tilted her head, her beautiful eyes hazy with curiosity. "Lucifer, and then?"

Sophie Sullivan withdrew her gaze and looked coolly at the clouds outside the porthole. "Then forget it."

Back then, in the docunts he investigated, the things about Sophie Sullivan and Liam Donald were far from just this.
