"We sleep in the sa bed. What do you think our relationship could be?"
Since she’d already been woken up and was in a foul mood, Sophie Sullivan went all out. "Use your brain and think carefully, what kind of relationship do I have with Thomas Shannon?"
"Hmph, you’re just a bed warr. What right do you have to show off in front of ?"
Alia Shaw bit her lip. "When Thomas Shannon liked , you were nowhere to be found!"
"So, you’re trying to tell that Thomas Shannon still likes you now, is that it?" Sophie Sullivan picked up a strand of her hair and twirled it around her fingers. "Why don’t we go find Thomas Shannon right now and ask him to his face, how about that?"
"You..." Alia Shaw hadn’t expected her to be so sharp-tongued!
But soon, Alia Shaw found a point of attack. "A disfigured, ugly woman like you? Where do you get the confidence that Thomas Shannon would like you? You’re daydreaming!"
"No, no, no. You should put your hand on your heart and ask yourself why Thomas Shannon doesn’t like you, even though you’re not disfigured or ugly. The problem lies with you, not ."
Sophie Sullivan was fearless. She provocatively hooked the corner of her mouth into a smirk. "Besides, I’m so ugly, yet Thomas Shannon still lets sleep with him in the sa bed. Don’t you think you’ve lost rather miserably?"
"You! Don’t get ahead of yourself. Thomas Shannon is not soone you can handle!" Alia Shaw said, exasperated.
"Whether I can handle him or not, I don’t know. But I do know that I can sleep with him, and you can’t. That’s the point." Sophie Sullivan casually twirled a strand of her hair, chuckling softly.
"You!" Alia Shaw glared at her angrily.
How could there be such a shaless person! All she talks about is sharing a bed, sleeping in the sa bed! Hasn’t she any sha?!
"Believe it or not, if I scream right now, you’ll be the one to suffer?" Sophie Sullivan had a gleam of amusent in her eyes.
Alia Shaw had co uninvited, entering the bedroom without permission, which was already a major taboo for Thomas Shannon.
Furthermore, Sophie Sullivan had never been particularly lenient with people who disturbed her sleep.
Before Alia Shaw could understand her true intentions, Sophie Sullivan had already curled her lips into a smile and shouted—
"Help!"
Stared at by Sophie Sullivan’s amused eyes, Alia Shaw didn’t know if she should run at that mont.
Her legs felt rooted to the ground, unable to move.
Even though she knew in her heart that she should leave imdiately—the sooner, the better.
But her legs wouldn’t obey her...
Perhaps, deep down, she also wanted to know who was more important to Thomas Shannon: her or this maniac.
Footsteps sounded, and a maid entered.
"What’s going on?" the maid asked, looking at the two people inside the bedroom.
Sophie Sullivan pulled the silk quilt higher with one hand to cover herself. "She’s trying to kill ."
"No, she’s lying!" Alia Shaw frantically shook her head in denial.
The maid looked at Sophie Sullivan, then at Alia Shaw, finding it difficult to judge. "Alia Shaw, please go downstairs first."
Sophie Sullivan was displeased. What did the maid an by ’go downstairs first’? Were they planning to just let this slide? They’d have to see if she agreed to that.
"Hold on." Sophie Sullivan stared at the maid with an unreadable smile. "It’s not your place to speak here. Go get Thomas Shannon."
The maid gasped. This little maniac was so audacious! How dare she casually use the Young Master’s full na!
Alia Shaw clenched her fists, unwilling. She stood her ground, feeling angry and resentful. Ultimately, she didn’t listen to the maid and go downstairs.
