He shuddered all over, suddenly tossed away the cigarette butt, and rushed towards the bath chamber.
The bath chamber door was locked. He stood outside the door, continuously pounding on it: "Sophie, what’s wrong? Sophie, can you hear ?"
Damn it!
There was no response from inside the bath chamber.
Thomas Shannon stepped back two paces, lifted a long leg, and violently kicked the door.
After two kicks, the bath chamber door was violently kicked open by him, the door panel slamd sharply against the wall, making a big noise.
His eyes bloodshot, he imdiately saw Sophie Sullivan collapsed in the shower room, the water from the showerhead still running, pouring down on her,
The sleep gown was wet, almost transparent, clinging to her body, her long hair wet and sticking to her face, her facial color terrifyingly pale.
Thomas Shannon’s heart suddenly sank, his breath choked, he pushed open the door to the shower room and lifted her off the floor, one hand gently tapping her face, "Sophie, Sophie wake up!"
He stripped off the wet sleep gown from her body, wrapped her in a bath towel, and carried her out of the bath chamber.
After laying her on the bed, he imdiately pressed the intercom to call for the family doctor.
Before the family doctor arrived, he took out a hair dryer from the cabinet of the washstand and dried her wet long hair.
The family doctor soon arrived and examined Sophie, but the results were not promising.
"Miss Cecilia Branford’s sudden fainting is related to the strong stimulus she received. Now, we can only wait for her to wake up on her own."
Sudden fainting, strong stimulus?
Thomas Shannon looked complexly at the unconscious Sophie, seeing Liam Donald, just brought her such a big emotional disturbance?

"She did."
