Thomas Shannon gave a low shout, and the doctor imdiately responded repeatedly, not daring to delay for a mont, imdiately preparing the fever-reducing dicine for her and giving her a fluid transfusion.
Sophie Sullivan’s high fever was aggressive and persisted throughout the night. The doctor didn’t dare to leave, and Thomas Shannon stayed by her side, afraid to close his eyes.
It wasn’t until the next morning that she finally woke up.
Opening her eyes, Sophie imdiately felt uncomfortable all over, her internal organs felt hot and her throat was burning painfully, her eyes unbearably dry.
She saw Thomas Shannon sitting by the bedside, his eyes bloodshot, and was sowhat surprised.
"Awake?" Thomas Shannon saw her open her eyes and reached out to touch her forehead.
Sophie’s head instinctively avoided his hand, which stiffened in mid-air.
Thomas Shannon’s eyes dimd, then he firmly turned her head and placed one hand on her forehead. The temperature had dropped significantly.
"What are you doing, don’t touch ."
"Sophie, if you keep acting up, I won’t care whether you live or die!"
He had stayed up all night for her, only to be told not to touch her.
It was truly ironic.
"Fine, don’t care then, anyway, you already can’t stand the sight of and wish I would die sooner."
When people are provoked, they instinctively speak without thinking, knowing the other’s weak spot and stabbing at it relentlessly.
Feeling unwell, Sophie’s temper was inevitably more volatile. After saying this, she could clearly feel the air pressure around her imdiately drop.
"I think it’s you who wants to die more, to get rid of ?"
Thomas Shannon sneered, standing up abruptly, looking at her with a gloomy expression, his thin lips speaking the most cold-blooded and heartless words, "As you wish, from today on, you’re on your own."
After saying that, he didn’t spare her another glance and turned to leave.
In the corridor, Charlie River was about to bring him breakfast when he saw Thomas Shannon, full of hostility, pull open the bedroom door and storm out.

The servant stopped in his tracks and said, "The Young Master has already left."

Sophie clenched her fist, damn Thomas Shannon, did he just leave? At least take her with him!

In the evening, Cheryl Chew returned to the manor from A University.
As soon as she got out of the car, she saw the familiar fleet, her lethargic expression imdiately beca lively, "Did Brother Shannon co back?"
Saying this, she quickly ran up the stairs and stepped inside the castle.
Seeing Thomas Shannon sitting on the sofa, holding Harry, gently smoothing its fur, Cheryl Chew excitedly ran over, "Brother Shannon, you’re back!"
Upon hearing this, Thomas Shannon raised his head, his eyes briefly glanced at her, and nodded, "Hmm."
Cheryl Chew was accustod to Thomas Shannon’s indifference; his nature was inherently cool, and she was already used to it.
So she didn’t feel anything amiss. She sat down beside him and looked around, not seeing the maniac.
