The gun she held dropped, landing a few steps away.

"Trash."

Alia Shaw was furious. She stomped her foot and turned around to leave.

She had agreed to get rid of Minimus Hart, but her own half-baked skills were clearly not up to the task. And yet, she still dared to boast about it.

Sophie Sullivan’s body was pressed to the ground by a man in black, his force not too heavy, but far from light.

She took the opportunity to close her eyes, feigning unconsciousness.

Minimus Hart walked forward a few steps and picked up the pistol from the ground. He weighed it in his hand and looked coldly at the unconscious Sophie Sullivan. "Lock her up temporarily in the dark cell until Young Master returns to make a decision."

The man in black had no objections to this, but the butler appeared to be in difficulty. "Why not ask for the Young Master’s opinion first..."

After all, it wasn’t the first ti the maniac had gone mad. There had been no precedent for imprisoning her in the dark cell, even when Young Master Shannon dealt with the situation personally. So, the butler was concerned that Young Master Shannon would be furious when he found out. The maniac was different, after all. She was the only woman who could enter Young Master’s bedroom and sleep beside him in bed. Just for this reason alone, Minimus Hart could not lock her in the dark cell.

Minimus Hart smiled slightly. "Butler, in order to ensure the safety of the slaves, I have no choice but to take this action. After all, training slaves also requires considerable financial and human resources. We can’t let a single maniac ruin all of the Young Master’s efforts. Don’t worry, if anything happens, I’ll take full responsibility."

With that said, the butler no longer had any reason to object.

The man in black carried the unconscious maniac away from the swimming pool and locked her in the dark cell.

The air was murky, and the light was dim. Sophie Sullivan was locked in a dark cell by the man in black. The heavy iron door closed and, CLICK, it was locked.

On the ground, there was so unknown, filthy water that slled terrible; vaguely, she could catch a whiff of the faint scent of blood. Sophie Sullivan lay on the ground, unmoving. She frowned, enduring the discomfort in her body and strong physiological reactions. Her stomach churned, and she felt like vomiting. To verify her suspicion, she could only wait...

「Evening.」

The maid brought a food box to the dark cell, and the man in black opened the heavy iron door. "Maniac, wake up and eat," the maid called out to her a few tis, but Sophie Sullivan did not respond.

She opened the food box, placing the food, dish by dish, on the filthy ground. She shook Sophie Sullivan and raised her voice, "Maniac, wake up, it’s ti to eat."

Seeing no reaction from the person on the ground, the maid secretly turned her head to look at the man in black outside the doorway. From the angle through the iron door, the man in black couldn’t see her position.

Without making a sound, the maid took out the syringe hidden in the food box. With precise and swift movents, she injected Sophie Sullivan’s arm. In less than a minute, the maid had put away the syringe, tidied up the food box, and left.

The heavy iron door shut with a harsh grinding sound. Sophie Sullivan faintly opened her eyes, gently touching the spot on her arm where she had been injected. It was indeed her!

By midnight, when Sophie Sullivan calculated it was about the right ti, she stood up and slapped the iron door. "Let out! I want to see Thomas Shannon!"

The man in black heard the noise and shone a flashlight through the small window, the blinding white light hitting her face. Sophie Sullivan instinctively raised her hand to shield her eyes. "Does Thomas Shannon know that you’ve locked up here?"

The man in black dared not make a decision on his own.
