Slowly, she touched her face. Who on earth could have been so cruel as to ruin it?Should she be grateful that only half of it was ruined, leaving the other half intact?
Her thoughts heavy, Sophie Sullivan drowsily fell asleep.
「The next day.」
When Sophie Sullivan woke up, the soreness in her body had not yet subsided. She got up and went to the bath chamber to take a bath.
She washed Thomas Shannon’s scent from her body, changed into a clean maid outfit, and then left the bath chamber.
Just then, a maid pushed open her bedroom door.
Standing in the doorway, the maid regarded her with cold eyes and an air of superiority, "The Young Master wants to see you."
The corner of Sophie Sullivan’s lips curved slightly as she gave a light nod.
"How many tis have I told you? When soone speaks to you, answer with your mouth! Don’t think that just because you’ve served the Young Master a few tis, you’ve beco a master yourself. Know your place, understand?"
It was only then that Sophie Sullivan realized she had beco a thorn in the side of all the other maids. After all, every one of these maids yearned to climb into Thomas Shannon’s bed.Yet, Thomas Shannon had, ti and again, only called upon her alone to serve. In their eyes, this was an imnse honor.
Sophie Sullivan felt like laughing. The corner of her lips curled into a cold, stunning smile. "Then let’s wait and see."
The maid’s breath caught in her throat. Looking at that face, even as a woman, she found herself uncontrollably drawn to Sophie Sullivan.
Let alone the Young Master...
An imnse sense of crisis washed over the maid.
The maid was resentful but dared not overstep her bounds. With Thomas Shannon inside the castle, none of them would dare act recklessly.
Sophie Sullivan was the first woman whom the Young Master had personally offered to teach. That point alone was sothing none of them could compare to.
She walked through a long corridor and arrived inside the castle.
The lavish decorations, though not the first ti she had seen them, were still breathtaking.
It was as if she had been transported to European dieval Royalty, finding herself in a luxurious castle. Sophie Sullivan’s emotions were extrely complex. She had to face Thomas Shannon again. She never knew what thods this man would devise to tornt her.
As she stepped into the hall, she heard n conversing.
Sophie Sullivan put herself on high alert, ready for anything.
William Guillen held a goblet, gently swirling the crimson red wine within. The corner of his lips curved with a roguish charm. "Charlie River, I hear your Young Master recently had his first taste... and it was with a madwoman?"
Charlie River tensed, not daring to answer rashly, "Young Master Guillen, from whom did you hear this?"
"It doesn’t matter from whom I heard it. What’s important is whether your Young Master really did sleep with a madwoman."
Thomas Shannon descended the stairs, dressed in a black shirt.
The top three buttons of his collar were undone, revealing his sexy collarbone.
His thin lips were pressed together slightly. His deep eyes were cold yet held a hint of untad spirit.
His handso face, as if ticulously sculpted by God himself, was exquisitely captivating.
His cold, imposing air and innate nobility combined to make his presence even more formidable.
"William Guillen, shut up."
As his words fell, Thomas Shannon’s gaze landed on Sophie Sullivan’s face, a barely perceptible smile touching the corner of his lips.
The maid bowed respectfully, her head lowered. "Young Master, I’ve brought her."
Sophie Sullivan remained standing, making no move.
The maid reached out and tugged her arm. Only then did Sophie Sullivan react, "Young Master, you were looking for ?"
She used honorifics, yet her expression held little respect. She didn’t even lower her head.
Thomas Shannon beckoned her forward with a flick of his hand. Sophie Sullivan approached him without hesitation.
William Guillen took a sip of his red wine, the llow liquid spreading across his tongue. He observed Sophie Sullivan with keen interest.
Unfortunately, all he could see was her profile.
