Sophie seed to be deliberately teasing him, her red lips brushing against his sensitive earlobe.
She extended her soft tongue, gently sliding it over his skin.
The man’s breathing imdiately quickened. Sophie chuckled softly, leaning into his embrace.
Harry was forced to jump out of his master’s arms. Thomas Shannon seized the mont to embrace her, lifting his hand to pinch her cheek. "Do you know what you’re doing, hmm?"
"Of course. I’m proving to you that I’m not a maidservant."
"Then what are you?"
Sophie’s srizing eyes flickered, her gaze ultimately settling back on his handso face. "You tell ?"
"Heh." With a low chuckle, Thomas Shannon cupped the back of her head and kissed her deeply.
This kiss was forceful and domineering.
It was as if he wanted to devour her whole, fierce and forceful.
Just as she was about to run out of breath, she finally pushed against his chest in resistance. "...Thomas Shannon."
The man loosened his hold slightly, his thin lips nipping at her soft lips, still wanting more. "Hmm?"
Sophie’s red lips were slightly swollen and alluring. She shot him a look of feigned anger. "Are you going to eat up?"
"Good idea."
Thomas Shannon made as if to kiss her again. Sophie hurriedly jumped out of his arms and retreated several steps, covering her mouth with one hand, her face a mask of vigilance as she stared at him. "Again?!"
"What, you have a problem with that?" Young Master Shannon frowned, displeased, his deep eyes intensely fixed on her.
I have a problem!
Of course I have a problem!
If he kept kissing her like that, Sophie knew she would eventually suffocate.
For her own sake, it was best to stay away from the kissing maniac, to stay away from Thomas Shannon.
"Our bedroom is upstairs, isn’t it?"
Ours?
Thomas Shannon savored the word, a faint, aningful smile playing on the corner of his mouth. "The first right-side bedroom upstairs."
"Understood." Sophie went upstairs to take a bath.
After Sophie left, Charlie River approached. "Young Master, why did you take the maniac to tour the Military Factory?"
This was sothing Charlie River still couldn’t understand. The security of the Military Factory was self-evident.
Yet, today, not only had he brought the maniac to the Military Factory, but he had also let her tour it. Wasn’t he afraid she would take revenge later by leaking its secrets?
"Charlie River, are you questioning my judgnt of character?"
Charlie River quickly lowered his head. "I wouldn’t dare, Young Master. I’m just worried..."
"Worried that the maniac will betray ?"
Charlie River silently acquiesced.
Thomas Shannon chuckled softly, stroking the fur on Harry’s head. "She’d need to have the ability first."
"But you know perfectly well that the maniac has both the ability and the audacity."
Thomas Shannon’s eyes darkened. "She won’t."
Charlie River really wanted to ask him where he got such confidence, to be so sure the maniac wouldn’t leak secrets, so sure she wouldn’t take revenge on him.
Charlie River began to wonder if the maniac had given their Young Master so kind of love potion, making him lose even his most basic sense of caution.
Thomas Shannon’s gaze was inscrutable. Even if the maniac harbored thoughts of revenge, she would first need the opportunity.
He wouldn’t give her that chance.
Whether it was her man or her freedom, he would firmly control it all.
Charlie River changed the subject. "Young Master, just as expected, Frank Mitchell has t with Alia Shaw."
As predicted, Frank Mitchell’s return to the country this ti was driven by a strong purpose.
Alia Shaw was his first target.
"Mm, keep an eye on them."
