Her cheek was grabbed and mischievously pinched twice, pulling it outward.
Sophie Sullivan glared at Thomas Shannon angrily. "What are you doing?"
Thomas Shannon’s cold eyes lost so of their chill. With a hint of amusent at the corner of his mouth, he said, "Feels quite nice."

Furious, Sophie Sullivan grabbed his hand and bit down on it.
"Let go." Thomas Shannon furrowed his brow, the faint smile at the corner of his lips disappearing instantly.

Thomas Shannon didn’t care about her threat at all. He grabbed her jaw with one hand and applied a little force. Sophie Sullivan felt a sudden ache in her cheek.
Soon after, her bite began to weaken.
She watched as Thomas Shannon slowly pulled his hand away.
Sophie Sullivan snorted coldly, raised her hand, and rubbed her pinched, reddened cheek. "Don’t pinch my face in the future!"
"Reason."
"Pinching too much will make ugly."
Thomas Shannon seed to have heard a ridiculous joke. He snorted in amusent, then stood up leisurely. He brushed so imaginary dust off his shirt and side-eyed her. "Do you think you’re not ugly now?"
He turned around and walked away, leaving a furious, teeth-gnashing Sophie Sullivan behind him.

In the quiet space, Alia Shaw’s heartbeat sped up.
With each step she took forward, the dim lighting made the place she was heading towards seem shrouded in a layer of mystery.
Fear accompanied the darkness, striking straight to the heart.
She carefully moved forward. Her voice trembled uncontrollably as she called out, "Frank Mitchell, where are you?"

She kicked sothing at her feet, making a noise.
Alia Shaw covered her ears and scread, terrified, "AH! Help!"
The shrill sound echoed continuously.
Alia Shaw had second thoughts, wishing she hadn’t co. "Frank Mitchell," she said, "whatever ga you’re playing, if you want to cooperate, you better show so sincerity! Otherwise, don’t bla for turning my back on you!"
Since he wanted to obtain K Group’s secrets through her, he had to do it her way, not by scaring her here with his theatrics.

A low chuckle ca, and Frank Mitchell’s footsteps grew closer. With a SNAP, he turned on the light.
Bright light instantly drove away the darkness in the room.
At last, Alia Shaw saw the place clearly. It looked like an abandoned gymnasium, with various types of workout equipnt all covered in a thick layer of dust.
The air was also thick with dust.
Alia Shaw angrily swung her handbag at him. "Bastard!"
Frank Mitchell caught her handbag and handed it back to her. "Are you willing to damage such an expensive handbag?"
"This much money? I don’t even care about it." Alia Shaw scoffed. The card Thomas Shannon gave her had no limit; she could swipe it freely.
Not to ntion just one handbag; even if it were a hundred, she could easily buy them all.
Frank Mitchell laughed softly. His eyes, filled with complex emotions, stared at her as he asked, "Have you decided?"
Alia Shaw also cald down. She raised her hand, smoothing her hair, and calmly counter-questioned, "Do I have any other choice?"
Nowadays, in the manor, she was caught between a rock and a hard place.
Constantly targeted by the maniac, if she didn’t fight back, she could only sit and wait for death.
She didn’t want to die at the hands of the maniac, so... the maniac would have to die by hers.
