"Hmm?" Thomas Shannon lazily responded.
The next second, Sophie Sullivan charged in front of him at lightning speed, both her hands reaching straight for his face.
Thomas was dumbstruck, having never expected her to do this!
"No hitting the face!"
"Hehe," Sophie laughed, "Not the face."
Her hands changed direction, diving into his hair, and she began ssing it up.

In less than three minutes, Sophie’s assault had turned Thomas’s perfect hairstyle into a terrible ss.
Fortunately, with a face like Thomas’s, even with this hairstyle, he only looked like a down-and-out nobleman, not a beggar.
Fluffy Zane had caught a cold and had been receiving fluid transfusions at the hospital for the past two days.
As she was leaving the hospital, she was about to retrieve her car.
She saw a familiar Maybach and stopped in her tracks.
She couldn’t be mistaken about the license plate. It belonged to William Guillen’s car.
Did he co to the hospital too? Was he sick?
With various doubts flashing through her brain, she decided to wait for William Guillen to return.
"Young Master Guillen, your dication is ready."
William Guillen nodded indifferently, put on his shirt, took so oral anti-inflammatory drugs, and left the hospital.
Holding his car keys, he went to the parking lot to get his car.
From a distance, he saw soone leaning against his car door, her head bowed.
He frowned and walked over.
Upon hearing the footsteps, Fluffy Zane imdiately lifted her head. The congestion and dizziness from her cold made her very uncomfortable.
However, this discomfort seed to ease the mont she saw William Guillen.
"Lan Singh, what a coincidence."
"Heh." William Guillen’s tone was noncommittal. "Did you follow here?"
His tone was sarcastic, but Fluffy Zane didn’t get angry. She simply lifted the dicine in her hand, shook it in front of him, and said, "I ca for a fluid transfusion and to pick up dicine."
She was trying her best to prove she hadn’t followed him and that their eting was a coincidence.
Hearing the nasal tone in her voice, William Guillen’s furrowed brow relaxed slightly.
He nodded subtly, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Anything else?"
"I just took cold dicine, so I can’t drive. Could you give a ride ho?"
It was true that one shouldn’t drive after taking cold dication.
Besides, she didn’t want to call for a designated driver. There was one readily available right here, so why look further?
William Guillen looked around. Indeed, there was no good reason or excuse to refuse.
He nodded and unlocked the car. "Get in."
A brilliant smile blood on Fluffy Zane’s face as she opened the car door and got in.
In the narrow car, Fluffy Zane turned her head to gaze at William Guillen’s cold, hard side profile. "Are you feeling unwell?"
"Just a minor injury, nothing serious," he said.
William Guillen had no intention of elaborating. He started the engine and drove away from the hospital.
During the car ride, Fluffy Zane kept trying to make conversation, chirping away, her excitent palpable.
This was a rare opportunity to have him drive her ho, and Fluffy Zane treasured every minute of the short journey.
"I heard from my dad that your uncle is holding a birthday banquet next month. Is that true?"
William Guillen answered perfunctorily, "Yes."
"Do you need a female companion? Can I reserve a spot as your companion in advance?"
Fluffy Zane asked cautiously, stealing glances at his expression.
"No need."
No need, huh...
Fluffy Zane lowered her eyelids, secretly taking a deep breath. "But your uncle doesn’t like you bringing those unsuitable won ho, so I’ll be your female companion."
