Alia Shaw turned away in embarrassnt and fled into the kitchen.
Sophie Sullivan frowned, still in pain. "It’s not working, it still hurts..."
Thomas Shannon paused, looking at her thoughtfully as his eye color gradually deepened. "Is it the lack of sleep hurting?"
"I don’t know, probably."
Thomas Shannon’s heart was filled with a hint of doubt. Could it be... her amnesia was caused by a head injury? Now that her head hurts, could it be...?

Before Thomas Shannon could speak, Sophie, who was leaning her head on his shoulder, raised it. "William Guillen, do you think Thomas Shannon is like you?" Thomas Shannon heard other implications. "Is this a complint?"

Sophie spoke softly and leaned back on his shoulder.
"Thomas, is the wound alright?"
Edward Benson noticed that Sophie was leaning right on the place where Thomas Shannon was wounded.
He furrowed his brows slightly, looking at them with concern.
Thomas Shannon gave a faint smile. "It’s nothing."
Sophie, only realizing it later, lifted her head, staring intently at Thomas Shannon. "I forgot. Why didn’t you tell ?"
His right shoulder was wounded. When I leaned on it just now, was he really okay?
"It’s fine." Thomas Shannon’s dark eyes gave her a sedative reassurance.
Sophie pouted but didn’t dare to lean down again. Since she felt that Thomas Shannon liked her, Sophie had beco sowhat uncomfortable.
