Thomas Shannon raised his hand and waved it. "Everyone, put down your guns."

The maniac has his gun pointed at him; how could they put down their guns?

Sophie Sullivan scanned the motionless n in black, a scornful laugh escaping her. "Thomas Shannon, it seems no one is listening to you."
"Put down your guns!"
Thomas Shannon’s handso face darkened, his deep voice carrying a compelling and oppressive air.
Led by Charlie River, the n in black gradually put down their guns.
Thomas Shannon took Sophie Sullivan’s hand. "Easy, don’t be so serious."
Sophie Sullivan’s hand, gripping his collar, tightened. "Let go! Who’s joking with you?"
Joking? He thought she was just joking? What a joke!
He’d already sent people to fetch Alia Shaw. What was she supposed to do, stay here?
Make things unpleasant for herself?
Thomas Shannon’s eyebrow arched slightly. His eyes were calm, and his sexy, thin lips curved into a barely perceptible smile—enigmatic and restrained.
Grabbing Thomas Shannon, Sophie Sullivan commanded the n in black, "Open the door."
A man in black glanced at Thomas Shannon. Receiving a subtle look from him, the man imdiately opened the door.
Sophie Sullivan snorted coldly, dragging Thomas Shannon out.
Before she could even step through the villa gate, her gun hand was seized in a flash.
A sharp pain shot through her wrist, and she involuntarily dropped the gun.
Thomas Shannon caught the pistol with one hand and tossed it to a nearby man in black. With his other hand, he pinned Sophie Sullivan’s arms tightly behind her back.
His tall fra pressed against her from behind. He lowered his head. "Still leaving?"
"Thomas Shannon, you’re despicable!"
"To the victor go the spoils; it’s all about capability." Thomas’s thin lips brushed lightly over Sophie’s sensitive earlobe. "If you lose, you obey. Understood?"
Sophie pressed her lips together, saying nothing.
The furious flas in her eyes looked as if they could burn him to ashes.
Thomas Shannon dragged her back into the villa. Sophie, feeling utterly humiliated, cried, "Thomas Shannon, let go of !"
"Stop struggling. You’ll only make it harder on yourself."
Back inside, he threw her onto the sofa. Her body bounced several tis. Fuming, she grabbed a cushion and started pumling him.
"You bastard!"
Thomas Shannon, agile and nimble, easily dodged her attacks. After a few futile attempts, Sophie sank onto the sofa, exhausted and panting heavily.
Sitting opposite her, Thomas Shannon frowned. "What’s gotten into you now?"
Sophie took a deep breath. "Let ask you, are you bringing Alia Shaw here?"
"You overheard?"
"Yes or no!"
Her aggressive questioning left him no room to evade the subject.
A chuckle escaped his sexy, thin lips.
He propped his head on one hand, his cold eyes glinting with amusent. "So, you’re angry because you found out Alia Shaw is coming?"
"You’re playing dumb!" Sophie Sullivan found him utterly despicable.
"Hah." He chuckled softly. "Quite the act."
Thomas Shannon stood up and walked out.

Alia Shaw, who had been waiting anxiously, finally saw the person sent to pick her up.
"Miss Shaw, please co with ." The man in black gestured emotionlessly for her to follow.
Alia Shaw kept looking past him, as if searching for soone or sothing.
