Now reading: Chapter 354 - 356: If you don’t get off, I’ll just like you from Pampered by My Secret Husband, a Romance novel by Elvis Dean.

If a woman could genuinely catch his eye, he wouldn’t have given up Alia Shaw for soone like her.

And who knew who it was that had sneaked into her bedroom at night, despicably threatening her and insisting they sleep together.

And just sleeping wasn’t enough; they had to sleep while embracing!

As she spoke, Sophie Sullivan sneakily glanced at Alia Shaw behind her. Her deep frustration imdiately lifted as if clouds had parted, and her mood brightened.

Thomas Shannon felt that the woman on his back deserved a spanking; where did she get such confidence?

"If you keep talking nonsense, get down and walk yourself."

Sophie Sullivan let out two little HMPHS, resting her chin on his shoulder and grumbling, "I don’t want to walk by myself; my legs are sore..."

"Then keep your mouth shut."

Thomas Shannon was tall with long legs and possessed excellent stamina. He carried Sophie on his back effortlessly, without his face flushing or becoming breathless, and their pace up the mountain quickened.

They left Alia Shaw far behind.

Alia Shaw was about to go mad with anger. She clenched her teeth, wanting to catch up, not wanting to give Thomas Shannon and Sophie Sullivan any opportunity to be alone.

But with her stamina, she simply couldn’t keep up with Thomas Shannon.

Panting heavily, she could only call out pitifully, "Thomas, wait for ."

"Miss Shaw, do you need to help you?" Charlie River asked at the opportune mont, in accordance with Young Master Shannon’s orders.

Alia Shaw didn’t even spare Charlie River a glance. "No need."

Even though she was so tired she could barely breathe evenly, she stubbornly walked on her own, secretly hoping that Thomas Shannon might glance back at her.

She wanted him to realize she was truly exhausted, not like Sophie Sullivan, who just complained of being tired but was actually just scheming!

In the end, Alia Shaw was to be disappointed.

Thomas Shannon, still carrying Sophie Sullivan, was the first to reach the mountain top.

They reached the mountain top. In a while, the fiery red sun began to rise slowly from the horizon.

Golden rays of light showered Mother Earth.

"Want to get down?" Thomas Shannon turned his head, looking at Sophie Sullivan, who was still clinging to his back.

Sophie Sullivan shook her head. "I’m not getting down. I like you carrying ."

Sophie just wanted to tire him out, to see how long he could last!

To think he actually brought Alia Shaw here—unforgivable!

The man’s sexy, thin lips pressed together slightly. He turned his head without a word and watched the sunrise.

This was probably Sophie Sullivan’s first ti watching a sunrise. If it weren’t for Thomas Shannon’s insistence, she would likely have cherished her sleep ti instead.

She’d never had the leisurely inclination to go to a mountain top to watch the sunrise.

The orange-red sun gradually revealed itself as a full circle.

Sophie Sullivan stretched out her hand, made a circular gesture, and said, "It looks like a salted duck egg..."

Her comnt elicited a scoffing laugh.

Alia Shaw had finally climbed up. Supported by Charlie River, she stood panting at the mountain top.

She responded to Sophie Sullivan’s taphor with a scoff, "Can’t you make a more elegant comparison?"

"Alright, alright. Your vocabulary is so rich; you make the comparison."

After snapping at Alia Shaw, Sophie Sullivan then asked Thomas Shannon, "Thomas Shannon, do you think it looks like a salted duck egg?"

"Have you ever eaten a salted duck egg?" Thomas Shannon recalled that salted duck eggs, as a food, had never been served at his dining table.

Sophie Sullivan’s mind went blank at the question. "Right, how would I know about salted duck eggs?"

"That’s why I said you’re a little fool."

"Thomas Shannon, do you get a sense of accomplishnt from attacking soone with amnesia?"

"Barely."

"Shaless!"

Thomas Shannon jounced her slightly on his back. "Say that again. Believe it or not, I’ll throw you down."

Sophie Sullivan looked up at the sky and sighed, "The weather is really nice today, isn’t it?"

Thomas Shannon: "..."

Charlie River: "..."

Such an abrupt change of topic.

Alia Shaw: "..."
