Sophie Sullivan squinted, approached him, and with her delicate arms, encircled his neck.
Thomas Shannon tilted his head down accordingly, his deep-set eyes gazing at her intensely.
Sophie grinned knowingly, a hint of triumph in her smile. "Do you like ?"
Thomas simply smiled without a word.
"Don’t deny it, I know you like ." If she was still uncertain after surviving this explosion, then she would indeed be slow-witted.
Even though he didn’t admit it himself, she could feel it.
So, whether he admitted it or not, his liking her was a fact she had accepted in her heart.
Loosening her hold on him, Sophie humd a tune and departed from the bedroom with light-hearted steps.

Frank Mitchell held a simple burial for Alia Shaw’s ashes.

The company was gone, he was deep in debt, and she... she had left him too. Falling from the cloudscape into a mud pond, he had been devastated for a while.
"At first I thought your so-called liking for Thomas Shannon was just about his money. He could provide you with a worry-free life, he could afford your spending spree, but now, I believe. You indeed fell in love with Thomas Shannon..."
You truly had long ago changed your heart, fallen in love with Thomas Shannon.
Frank Mitchell chuckled lightly, a trace of self-mockery in his voice. "After all, it’s what I owe you... Don’t worry, I’ll soon send Thomas Shannon to keep you company, very soon."
Withdrawing his gaze without any reluctance, Frank Mitchell rose and left the cetery, his silhouette cold and resolute.
George Field and William Field were saved and brought back by their faithful attendants, who sacrificed their lives.
