Sophie Sullivan snorted coldly, stopping in her tracks.
"Co back." Thomas Shannon rubbed his forehead. Who on earth spoiled her like this? Always storming off at the slightest disagreent!
"Are you going to punish them?" Sophie didn’t turn her head, her voice cold as she asked.
There was an implied threat in her words. But she seed to have forgotten that she, too, was now under soone else’s roof.
"Didn’t you hear ? I told you to co back!" Anger tinged Thomas Shannon’s handso face.
Minimus Hart, her head lowered, felt a slight smile curve her lips. This woman thinks too highly of herself. She had served Thomas Shannon for so many years; how could she compare to so woman who rely climbed into his bed? Overestimating her own importance!
Sophie looked at the expressionless n in black blocking her way. She didn’t need to think to know she couldn’t beat them.
She turned and went back to Thomas Shannon’s side.
"Sit down."
It was like a command. When Thomas Shannon told her to sit, she sat. Sophie sat on his lap. Thomas Shannon gripped her chin with one hand, his eyes narrowed. "Who spoiled you to have such a temper, hmm?"
"Who knows? Maybe I was born with it." Sophie’s expression seed to say, Anyway, I don’t have any mories, so even if you ask, I wouldn’t know. This is just my temper; he can deal with it however he sees fit.
She had expected him to be angry, but instead, Thomas Shannon rely changed the subject, looking at Minimus Hart. "Explain what happened upstairs."
Minimus Hart raised her head, maintaining a dignified and composed smile. "Young Master, we were following your orders to help this Miss bathe. But she was uncooperative and even tried to strike soone."
"You can continue," Sophie sneered, looking contemptuously at Minimus Hart.
Thomas Shannon’s eyebrows furrowed. He gave Sophie’s arm a light tap. "Be quiet!"
Does she have no awareness of her place as a servant?
Sophie pursed her red lips and said nothing.
"Her na is maniac; she’s one of you." Thomas Shannon pondered for a mont. "You can’t even handle such a small matter. Go and receive your punishnt, each of you."
Hearing the first sentence, Minimus Hart had been secretly delighted. So this woman was just a servant after all. Did she really think she could beco the mistress just by climbing into the Young Master’s bed? To have her status defined so publicly by the Young Master... she must feel terrible, right?
But hearing the second sentence, Minimus Hart was sowhat taken aback. It was unbelievable. The Young Master actually punished all of them for a re maniac.
"Yes, Young Master." Minimus Hart quickly recovered and led the maids away to receive their punishnt.
Thomas turned to Sophie. "Satisfied now?"
"Young Master, don’t you think the punishnt is a bit light?" Sophie replied.
"You got what you wanted, now don’t push your luck." Thomas Shannon loosened his grip and pushed her away. "Go take a bath."
"By myself?" Sophie confird again. There wouldn’t be any more maids showing up to help her bathe, right?
"Or do you want to help you?"
"No need. I can do it myself."
Leaving those words, Sophie turned and went upstairs.
As soon as Sophie was gone, Harry, who had been neglected to the side, dared to climb into his master’s embrace, rubbing its fluffy head against Thomas Shannon’s arm to curry favor.
Stroking Harry’s head, Thomas Shannon mused, "Charlie River."
Charlie River stepped forward. "Young Master, I’m here."
"Have the doctor co. Prepare an examination for the maniac."
"Yes, Young Master."
「Upstairs」
A servant soon brought Sophie a change of clothes.
"maniac, these are the clothes for you to change into later. I’ve put them here for you," the servant said.
Sophie glanced at them lazily. "What kind of clothes are these?"
