The doubts in Minimus Hart’s heart were like a snowball, rolling and growing larger.
What did Young Master still need to find out about the maniac that could only be answered through a hypnotist?
Minimus Hart smiled. "Well done. Report any situation that arises to in a tily manner."
"Yes, Sister Minnie." The maid smiled. "Then I’ll go and get busy."
"Go ahead."
Minimus Hart paced back and forth in the bedroom. She couldn’t figure out what information Young Master wanted to know about the maniac that would require the use of a hypnotist.
Could it be... an attempt to restore her mory?
Sophie Sullivan slept deeply.
She didn’t wake up until evening. When she opened her eyes, she felt a sense of exhaustion throughout her body.
She lay quietly in bed, her vacant eyes staring unfocused at the ceiling.
"OW." Harry, who was playing with a furball at the end of the bed, suddenly lifted his head.
His big eyes stared at Sophie Sullivan for a while before he gave up his toy furball and gracefully padded over to her side.
Seeing Sophie Sullivan open her eyes, he tried to rub his fluffy head against her cheek. "OW."
"Harry, go away."
Hearing Sophie Sullivan’s voice, Harry beca even more playful.
It seed he thought this was a new ga and was having a great ti.
Sophie Sullivan couldn’t stand it anymore. She reached out, grabbed Harry by the scruff of his neck, and lifted him into midair. "Rascal! Just like your master!"
Harry instantly beca submissive and owed pitifully.
"Awake?" Thomas Shannon opened the door just in ti to see his beloved pet being threatened.
Hearing his master’s voice, Harry instantly perked up and owed even louder. "OW!"
Master, save !
Thomas Shannon approached the bedside, took Harry from her hands, and held him in his embrace, smoothing his fur.
"Didn’t I tell you not to provoke her?"
Harry owed innocently and retracted his neck, curling up obediently in his master’s embrace.
Sophie Sullivan closed her eyes. "Why are you here?"
"You’ve been sleeping for a long ti; I ca to check on you." Thomas Shannon sat down by the bedside, gently stroking her cheek with his fingertip. "Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"
He intentionally pronounced ’uncomfortable’ with a subtle change, flattening the tone of the ’shu’ syllable.
Sophie Sullivan’s pupils contracted, and her body stiffened. What was he saying?
Thomas Shannon chuckled softly. "Confused? I’m asking if your body is uncomfortable anywhere."
Sophie Sullivan held her breath, listening intently to his words. Only after he finished did she quietly sigh in relief.
She must have been too tense; that’s why she misheard.
She’d thought... he was calling her na.
It had scared her to death.
Thomas Shannon was very satisfied with the little stir he’d created. Her reaction further confird that Sophie Sullivan was her na.
When had she learned her own na?
She knew her na but had never told him. It must have been exhausting to keep it a secret.
Shaking her head, Sophie Sullivan said faintly, "No, I’m fine."
"Little Maniac, you don’t look so good. Should I call a doctor to check on you?"
Sophie Sullivan closed her eyes. "No need. I’m just tired. I’ll be fine after so more rest."
Thomas Shannon stood up, holding Harry, who was now as quiet as a mouse, and asked cheerfully, "Do you want to have dinner downstairs, or shall I have the servants bring it up to you?"
"Bring it up."
The man said nothing more, turned, and left the bedroom.
「After dinner.」
