His narrow eyes squinted dangerously. "Since you like to play, play to your heart’s content in the water."
He snapped his fingers, and the man in black imdiately ca to his side, leaning down to listen.
After whispering a few words, the man in black turned and left.
Sophie Sullivan didn’t know what he had said to the man in black, but judging from his expression, it wasn’t hard to see that he was thinking of how to tornt her again.
Sophie swam quickly to the shore, just about to grab the armrest to climb up.
But she was ruthlessly pushed back into the swimming pool by the servant.
"Without Young Master’s order, you cannot co up."
Sophie refused to believe it and tried to force her way up, but the servant firmly guarded this position.
Seeing this, Sophie didn’t press on and swam to the other side, attempting to climb up when the servant appeared in front of her.
"Get down." As the ruthless words fell, her fingers were pried open, one by one.
SPLASH.
Her body plunged back into the water.
Sophie angrily slapped the water’s surface, growling at the man puffing on a cigarette on the lounge chair, "Young Master, what do you want in the end?"
"To punish you."
These concise three words made Sophie very unwilling.
"Young Master, you’re a magnanimous man. Can’t you let this go just this once?"
Thomas Shannon flicked the cigarette ash, the corner of his mouth curling into a cold arc. "Up until now, no one has dared to ridicule like this. You are the first."
"There’s always a first ti. You’ll get used to it later."
Thomas Shannon was taken aback. He had thought she would show weakness and beg for rcy; he hadn’t expected her to dare to spout such twisted reasoning!
He was caught off guard and choked on the smoke, coughing lightly and extinguishing the cigarette butt in his hand.
He stood up and walked to the edge of the pool, looking down condescendingly at the woman who was splashing in the water.
Her small face was filled with defiance.
The man in black returned quickly, holding two cages covered in black cloth.
He stood by Thomas Shannon’s side, respectfully saying, "Young Master, everything is ready."
"Put them in."
"Yes!" The man in black removed the black cloth, revealing the things inside the cages.
A flock of chicks huddled together, PEEP PEEP. Harry loved to play with them usually, chasing them around whenever he had the chance.
For this, Thomas Shannon had specially prepared a group of energetic little yellow chickens to accompany the lively Harry.
Today, they wouldn’t be playing with Harry; it was Sophie’s turn.
Sophie saw the little yellow chickens, and far from finding them cute, she subconsciously swam farther away.
"Young Master, don’t tell you’re going to put them in!"
Sophie’s voice trembled slightly, tinged with a mix of fury and frustration.
As if he was about to commit a heinous act by putting the little yellow chickens into the pool.
"You’re indeed very smart." Thomas Shannon said with a light laugh, confirming her guess.
The man turned his head, his handso profile sharply defined. "What are you waiting for? Pour them in."
The man in black moved quickly, opening the cages and pouring the little yellow chickens into the pool.
From the two cages, about a hundred little yellow chickens were dumped into the pool.
Imdiately, the azure water was occupied by a flock of little yellow chickens, PEEP PEEP.
Sophie kept dodging, retreating to a corner of the pool. Seeing the excrent of the little yellow chickens, she scread in disgust, "Let up! It’s disgusting!"
"Maniac, enjoy yourself." After leaving these words, Thomas Shannon turned and left.
Sophie watched the culprit’s retreating figure grow smaller in the distance, so angry she kept slapping the water. "Thomas Shannon, you stop right there! Let up!"
