A shocking mont happened!
The fierce tiger actually stopped its mad dash, its front paws leaving deep stopping marks in the sandy ground.
It roared and stared at Sophie Sullivan.
Sophie Sullivan’s Heart raced, her voice filled with surprise. "Thomas Shannon, can it actually understand what I’m saying?"
Thomas Shannon: "..."
Trying to prove her guess, Sophie Sullivan pointed at the tiger’s eyes and continued, "Sit."
The tiger didn’t move.
HUFF, PUFF. It panted heavily and seed about to pounce on her.
Sophie Sullivan took a deep breath and raised her voice, "Sit!"
Although unwilling, the tiger slowly sat down. It rested its large head on its front paws, looking like a big cat sitting on the sandy ground. Its long tail swished left and right.

Thomas Shannon pointed his pistol at the tiger, turned his head to look at Sophie Sullivan, and asked, "Do you speak the animal language?"
Sophie Sullivan shot him an annoyed glance. "Young Master Shannon, was I speaking animal language just now?"
"Why does it listen to you then?" A fierce tiger capable of tearing a person apart actually obeyed her command; it stood still and then sat down.
At this mont, it was like a well-behaved big cat, sitting there without moving, only twitching its tail to indicate that it was a tiger and not a toy.
"Amazing," Sophie Sullivan sighed to herself. "I don’t know why, but when I saw it, my gut told it wouldn’t hurt ."
Sophie Sullivan’s blurted words sent Thomas Shannon into deep thought.
She felt an affinity for a fierce tiger.

For one thing, she must have encountered such fierce animals before and wasn’t afraid.
Secondly, since she wasn’t from Country A, it was highly likely she was a foreigner. In so overseas countries, it’s legal to keep fierce beast species like tigers and lions as pets.

Sophie Sullivan turned her head, looking puzzled. "Is there a problem with that?"

"It won’t." Sophie Sullivan pointed to the tiger’s hind legs. "It’s injured; it probably just wants so food and won’t hurt us."
Thomas Shannon followed the direction of her finger. Indeed, the tiger’s hind legs were injured.
Dark blood had scabbed over, and that patch of fur was matted together.
Thomas Shannon toyed with his pistol while Sophie Sullivan clasped her hands together. "Thomas Shannon, please don’t kill it."
"I won’t kill it now, on the condition that it stays far away from us."
Sophie Sullivan nodded. She understood his concerns and agreed with his point of view.
"Alright, can we give it so food?"
Sophie Sullivan sought Thomas Shannon’s approval. After all, the food was theirs and limited in quantity. Sharing so would an they would have less.
Seeing her sincere look, Thomas Shannon nodded and agreed.
Sophie Sullivan took the food, which had already been heated, tore open the packaging bag, and threw it over.
The tiger lifted its head, opened its mouth, and caught the food steadily.
It swallowed everything in just a few bites.
It tilted its head and swished its tail. This morsel of food was not enough to fill the gaps between its teeth; it still wanted more.
