Thinking about the two people sent by Frank Mitchell, Sophie Sullivan hesitated.
Between Frank Mitchell and Lucifer, she had already assessed the danger level of both n to her and made her final decision.

He stretched out his hand and removed the mask.
When the mask was removed from her face, Sophie stiffened and instinctively reached for it. "What are you doing?!"
"Cecilia, what happened to your face?"
Lucifer couldn’t imagine that Cecilia Branford, who had always been proud of her appearance, had her most beloved face ruined.
Looking at her face beneath the mask, he was deeply shocked.
Sophie lowered her eyelids and remained silent.
"Cecilia, I understand you’ve lost your mories, but you must believe that I am the person in this world, besides your Daddy and Mommy, who is least likely to hurt you."
Lucifer was annoyed by her guardedness and even more annoyed that she had forgotten him and was constantly on guard against him.

Sophie reached out her hand, her voice light. "Give back the mask."

Sophie’s long lashes trembled, and she slowly raised her eyelids. Lucifer smiled softly. "I don’t despise you, nor will I make fun of you. In my eyes, Cecilia is always beautiful."

Strangely enough, besides her initial caution towards Lucifer, Sophie didn’t seem to be rejecting him. In the short ti they had spent together, she didn’t feel resistant. Being with him brought an indescribable sense of peace and comfort to her heart.
Perhaps, as he said, they were friends, childhood sweethearts who had grown up together. Although she had lost her mories, her subconscious still retained mories of him.
"It’s a long story."
Lucifer comforted her by patting her head. "Alright, let’s find a place and take our ti."
Country J was famous for its hot spring culture. Lucifer booked a Hot Spring hotel. He brought Sophie to the hot spring pool, enjoying the warmth of the natural warm spring water and the comfort of the steaming heat.
