"Young Master, what are your orders?"
Thomas Shannon’s eyes were dark and filled with murderous intent. "Go and find out who Cecilia Branford from Country F is."
"Young Master, is Cecilia Branford the maniac’s na?" Charlie River asked curiously, imdiately receiving a furious roar from Thomas Shannon, "Stop talking nonsense! Just investigate it like I told you to, and cut the chatter!"
As if struck by a heavy blow, Charlie River imdiately wilted. "Yes, Young Master. I’ll send soone to investigate right away."
After hanging up the phone, Thomas Shannon threw his mobile phone onto the sofa and paced back and forth.
The raging anger in his chest still couldn’t be cald.
Sophie Sullivan, Sophie Sullivan, you’ve really got so nerve! A so-called childhood sweetheart just appeared out of nowhere! What other secrets are you hiding that I don’t know about?
Thomas Shannon was filled with anger, wishing he could drag Sophie Sullivan over and interrogate her thoroughly.
He closed his eyes briefly, exhaled a long, turbid breath, and turned to leave.
He arrived at Sophie Sullivan’s bedroom door, twisting the door handle several tis, but the door was locked; it wouldn’t open.
Impatient, he knocked. "Sophie, open the door for ."
Inside the bedroom, Sophie Sullivan, who had already lain down, knew Thomas Shannon wouldn’t just let this go so easily.
However, letting him in at this point would undoubtedly be inviting the wolf into the den. I’m not that foolish.
She simply closed her eyes, feigning sleep. I can’t hear anything. I can’t hear anything at all.
Outside the door, the fuming Thomas Shannon banged on the door. "Sophie, if you don’t open this door, I’ll break it down!"
Upon hearing the noise, Lucifer also left his bedroom. With his arms crossed and a cold stare, he watched the furious man pounding on the door. "Thomas Shannon, you dare try breaking down this door?"
How dare he disturb Cecilia Branford’s sleep? Is he tired of living? Then again, knowing Cecilia Branford’s past temper, it’s impossible for her to just swallow this insult silently. When she sleeps, she doesn’t allow anyone to make noise near her or disturb her rest. For Thomas Shannon to be banging on the door so rudely right now, and for Cecilia Branford not to have flown into a rage... it’s truly strange!
"This is none of your business, get lost!"
His Highness Lucifer was enraged. The person who dared tell him to get lost hadn’t even been born yet!
His eyes darkened, and he lunged forward, throwing a punch laced with a biting wind at Thomas Shannon.
Thomas Shannon reacted quickly, blocking the strike with one hand and swiftly countering with a punch of his own.
Lucifer smirked. "You have so skill."
Sophie Sullivan, pretending to sleep with her eyes closed, perked up her ears, listening to the sounds outside the door. After hearing Lucifer say, "You have so skill," there was no further conversation, only the sounds of collisions, as if sothing had knocked into the living room decorations.
CRASH! CLATTER!
The sound of shattering porcelain rang out.
Sophie Sullivan sat up and growled at the doorway, "All of you, keep it down!"
The two n, who had been fighting, exchanged a glance and simultaneously walked out the door.
The battleground shifted from inside the room to the corridor.
"Young Master..." the man in black looked at Thomas Shannon with worry and stepped forward a few paces, about to help.
Leo quickly ca to Lucifer’s side. "Master, are you all right?"
Thomas Shannon turned his head and coldly ordered, "All of you, back off!"
Lucifer whistled, his blood boiling. "Leo, I think it’s ti I got so exercise."
Understanding the aning behind his words, Leo stepped back two paces and stood behind him, watching.
The man in black, having received Thomas Shannon’s command, had no choice but to retreat, standing at a distance, watching.
