Opening the wardrobe, she took out a sleep gown and slipped it on.
Then, she went to the bedroom door and opened it.
The two maidens Minimus Hart had summoned had long been waiting at the bedroom door.
Seeing the bedroom door open, both of them lowered their heads simultaneously.
Sophie Sullivan crossed her arms, her expression cold as she hooked the corners of her lips upwards. "Lift your heads and look at ."
Her tone was filled with an undercurrent of arrogance.
Panic flickered in the two maidens’ hearts, but they obediently raised their heads.
"Do you rember what I said?"
The maidens pressed their lips together, saying not a word.
"Answer ."
"We don’t rember."
Whether they genuinely didn’t rember or just didn’t want to answer, Sophie Sullivan no longer cared.
"Oh, you don’t rember, do you? Kneel for !" Sophie Sullivan’s eyes grew cold, her voice deepening slightly as she snapped the order.
The imperious command made the maidens hesitate.
"Have you seen what happened to Minimus Hart?" Sophie Sullivan’s body leaned casually against the doorway, the collar of her sleep gown slipping open considerably with her movent.
With a THUD, the two maidens’ knees hit the ground.
Of course, they had seen what happened to Minimus Hart. Their attempt to defy her was rely to vent their frustration on his behalf.
Sophie Sullivan was their true common enemy.
Sophie Sullivan stepped forward and lifted one maiden’s chin with her toe. A cold, alluring smile hooked her lips. "Will you obey?"
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," the maiden turned her face aside, her expression clearly unyielding.
"It seems you won’t shed a tear until you see the coffin." Sophie Sullivan leaned closer to them, a scornful laugh escaping her. "You all want to climb into Thomas Shannon’s bed too, don’t you?"
The maiden’s facial color reddened at the accusation. "Don’t talk nonsense!"
"If you don’t, then I’ll give you a chance to prove yourselves."
Sophie Sullivan stroked her chin, her enigmatic eyes sweeping over each of the n in black standing in the corridor.
Finally, her gaze settled on two of them.
"You two, co here."
The n in black didn’t move, clearly not taking her seriously.
The two maidens kneeling on the ground sniggered, hidden by their lowered heads.
Sophie Sullivan didn’t get angry but slowly nodded. "Wait."
After uttering those two words, she turned and returned to the bedroom.
Thomas Shannon was taking a bath in the bath chamber when, suddenly, the bath chamber door was pushed open.
His cold eyes narrowed, a hint of ruthlessness flashing within them. Sophie Sullivan closed the bath chamber door behind her. "Young Master, are you not done yet?"
"Who allowed you to co in?"
Sophie Sullivan replied matter-of-factly, "I allowed myself in. Young Master, are you not done yet?"
This damned woman! How dare she rush ?
Thomas Shannon stepped out of the shower room, walking confidently towards her. Sophie Sullivan’s gaze remained strictly above his collarbone, not daring to look any lower.
