She worriedly supported Thomas Shannon’s arm and turned to the nearby maid, anxiously saying, "Quick, call the doctor!"
The shocked maid imdiately regained her senses and dialed the dical office.
Thomas Shannon sat on the sofa while a servant brought a dical box. Minimus Hart opened the box and perford simple first aid to stop Thomas Shannon’s bleeding.
Sophie Sullivan stood where she was, porcelain fragnts scattered on the ground at her feet.
Thomas Shannon’s cold eyes were bloodshot as he glared fiercely at her. His gaze was sharp and terrifying. Sophie Sullivan shuddered and subconsciously avoided his gaze.
"Stop!"
A deep voice resounded from behind her.
Sophie Sullivan stopped but didn’t turn around or look back. "What’s the matter?" she asked.
"I didn’t tell you to leave. You can’t go anywhere!"
Sophie Sullivan took a deep breath and slowly turned around. "What if I insist?"
"Then don’t bla ." The man sneered, turning his gaze away.
Minimus Hart, who was stopping his bleeding, glanced quickly at Sophie Sullivan. "You maniac, Young Master has been so good to you, how can you be so heartless? Ask yourself, how has the Young Master treated you? How can you be so ungrateful? Doesn’t your conscience tornt you?"
Sophie Sullivan had intended to apologize, but after Minimus Hart interjected, she no longer wanted to say anything.
At this mont, Minimus Hart’s accusations were like provocative knives, their sharp blades glinting before her.
She really loves to stir up trouble, doesn’t she? Always trying to add fuel to the fire.
Sophie Sullivan raised her hand, smoothed her hair, and tucked a few strands behind her ear, then curved her lips into a smile. "Yes, I’m an ungrateful wretch; I’m heartless. For treating him this way, my conscience is deeply troubled. But what does that have to do with you?"
She approached Thomas Shannon, rested one hand on his shoulder, and gazed directly at Minimus Hart. Her red lips curled slightly as she said, word by word, "Get. Lost."
"You maniac... what did you just say?" Minimus Hart trembled with agitation.
"Can’t you understand?" Sophie Sullivan leaned in, grabbed an apple from the fruit plate, and threw it to the ground.
The apple rolled across the floor.
Sophie Sullivan lifted her delicate chin slightly. "See that? Like that apple, get out of here."
Minimus Hart lowered her gaze, looking at Thomas Shannon with forced composure. "Young Master..."
Thomas Shannon brushed her hand off his shoulder, his voice cold and devoid of any warmth. "Have you made enough trouble?"
"Didn’t you just call an ungrateful wretch?" Sophie Sullivan’s hand crept back onto his shoulder. "When I treat you well, you don’t appreciate it. And then you just slap the ’ungrateful wretch’ label on . Thomas Shannon, if you keep this up, we can’t communicate anymore."
"What exactly do you want?"
That was a good question.
Sophie Sullivan laughed lightly. Wasn’t it obvious what she wanted?
For Minimus Hart to get lost.
Just seeing her gave Sophie a headache.
Before she could answer, the doctor rushed in. "Young Master, are you alright?"
"Doctor, please hurry," Minimus Hart urged, her expression anxious and worried.
The doctor stepped forward, and Sophie Sullivan had to step aside.
After examining the wound, the doctor said with concern, "Fortunately, the wound isn’t large, so no stitches are needed. If the force had been a bit stronger, Young Master, your head would have been in danger..."
Minimus Hart interjected, "Doctor, you should be saying that to the maniac. Next ti, she’d better not be so disrespectful and reckless."
Hearing this, Sophie Sullivan, standing to the side, chuckled. "Minimus Hart, who do you think you are?"
