After hanging up the phone, Lucifer put down his mobile phone and continued drinking.
Cecilia Branford... when will you be able to return to my side?
When will there be no more irrelevant people appearing to bother you?
When can you be free from any danger and openly be yourself again?
As Lucifer drank, his body eventually slumped onto the sofa.
The wine glass in his hand fell to the ground.
Early the next day, Leo entered the room and was startled to see Lucifer lying on the sofa.
Alard, he rushed to the sofa. "Your Highness! Your Highness, what happened to you?"
Lucifer did not move. The wine bottle on the tea table was tilted, and an empty wine glass lay conspicuously on the carpet.
All signs indicated that Lucifer had been drinking!
Upon realizing this, Leo’s pupils imdiately contracted, and he shouted, "Prepare the car! We’re going to the hospital, imdiately!"
"Yes!"
Leo carried Lucifer on his back, quickly left the bedroom, descended from the hotel, and hurried to the hospital at top speed.

Sophie Sullivan didn’t wake up until late morning.
She tried to turn over but found herself tightly embraced by Thomas Shannon.
Sophie was speechless.

She raised her hand and pinched his shoulder hard.
The man slowly woke up. His deep eyes, dark and filled with the haze of just waking, narrowed slightly. "Hmm?"
"Let go." Sophie clenched her teeth and said irritably.
Thomas Shannon chuckled lightly. "Say sothing nice, and I might consider it."
Pervert!
"I take back my previous statent."
Sophie was speechless again.
She pushed Thomas Shannon, but he remained motionless. Forget letting go; she couldn’t even create the slightest gap between them.
Looking at the gauze on his head, she raised her hand, but then lowered it.
Finally, her hand landed on his shoulder. "You’re incredibly heavy. Get up."

"Thomas Shannon..."
"..."
"I’ll count to three. If you don’t get up by then, don’t bla for losing my temper."

After the count, the man still hadn’t moved, completely unfazed by the threat.
Sophie let out a long, heavy sigh. Just as she was about to say so sweet words against her conscience, her mobile phone on the bedside table rang.
Only two people knew this number: Lucifer and Leo.
Who could be looking for her at this ti?
Sophie stretched out her arm, picked up the phone, and saw it was a call from Leo.
She answered, "Leo, what’s the matter?"
"Miss Cecilia Branford, please co to the hospital quickly! Sothing has happened to His Highness!"
Sothing happened to Lucifer?
Sophie’s whole body stiffened. How could sothing happen to Lucifer, all of a sudden? With a sudden burst of strength she didn’t know she possessed, she forcefully shoved Thomas Shannon away.
She sat up, her heart pounding rapidly from anxiety. She tried to maintain her composure, but her pale face betrayed her inner turmoil. "Tell ," she urged, "what happened to Lucifer?"
"His Highness drank last night, and he’s now unconscious. He’s been taken to the hospital."
"He got drunk?"
