Thomas Shannon stretched out his long index finger, swaying it back and forth in front of her.
He hooked the corner of his mouth, his eye color twinkling with intense interest, "Fennie, don’t dodge my question. That’s not right."
"It seems I didn’t miss you." Sophie Sullivan gave a faint smile. "What a coincidence. I’m just like you."
Thomas Shannon: "..."
Sophie Sullivan sat down beside Harry, reaching out and poking his exposed belly.
Harry let out a OW. His claws twitched a bit, but he didn’t wake up.
Sophie Sullivan poked him again.
"OW!" Harry got annoyed and suddenly sat up like a carp leaping from water, his teeth bared fiercely.
Seeing Sophie Sullivan, he stared blankly for a while.
Then, he flicked his tail twice and gracefully jumped onto her lap, rubbing his furry little head against her hand.
He looked like he wanted to be petted.
Thomas Shannon sat down opposite her. The flight attendant brought so fruit juice. Thomas Shannon turned his head, his handso face dark, "Pour a glass of wine."
"Yes, Young Master."
The flight attendant quickly brought a glass of red wine and respectfully placed it in front of Thomas Shannon.
Sophie Sullivan, holding Harry and idly playing with his furry tail, said, "Harry, it seems you really missed . Unlike so people..."
"Sophie!"
Thomas Shannon took a sip of red wine, his eye color deep and intense. "Is it that difficult for you to answer one question?"
"You didn’t answer mine either, did you?"
"I did."
Sophie Sullivan was startled. Did he an he missed her too?
Thomas Shannon stared at Harry, whom she was holding and teasing in her arms. Sensing danger, Harry’s fur bristled as he stared at his master unblinkingly.
The next second, Harry desperately burrowed into Sophie Sullivan’s embrace, letting out pitiful OWS.
Thomas Shannon scoffed. He should have known better than to bring this troubleso Harry along! Now, looking at him, he was a real eyesore!
Thomas Shannon downed his glass of wine and set it down. He took a deep breath. His face was grim, and his eyes blazed with a cold, startling rage. "Sophie Sullivan, you’ve never trusted ."
Sophie Sullivan’s misty beautiful eyes t his. "That’s because you’ve never stopped hurting ."
"Hurt?"
Thomas Shannon sneered. He didn’t deny that he had hurt her. But what did she an, he had never stopped?
"Thomas Shannon, you have anger inside your heart right now, and so do I. I think there’s no need for us to continue this conversation."
Continuing this would only lead to mutual destruction, and neither of us would gain anything.
Holding Harry, she stood up, about to head to the lounge in the aft cabin.
The man’s handso face was like sculpted ice. He stood up and lunged forward. In one swift motion, he snatched Harry from her arms and carelessly tossed the cat to Charlie River. Then, gripping Sophie Sullivan’s shoulder with one hand, he forcibly turned her to face him.
Forced to face him, Sophie Sullivan frowned, displeased. "What do you want?"
She tried to pry the man’s hand from her shoulder, but found she couldn’t move it at all!
That hand, like an iron clamp, held her fast. She couldn’t move, forced to face him.
"Sophie Sullivan, you’re probably the most heartless woman in this world!"
Sophie Sullivan t his accusation without flinching.
