Sophie Sullivan picked up a piece of hay and glanced at it. It was from the horse stable.
The horse stable...
"The horse stable..." Sophie Sullivan murmured. Then, the corners of her mouth lifted into a smile.
She’d figured out a more interesting way to play!
"Go and call Minimus Hart to the equestrian center," she ordered.
With that, Sophie picked up Harry and walked out.
The maid hesitated before following her. "Maniac, do you need Sister Minnie for sothing?"
Sophie Sullivan sneered coldly. "You’re not qualified to ask questions. Just do as I say."
A trace of embarrassnt crossed the maid’s face. It wasn’t the first ti Sophie Sullivan had humiliated her; it had happened last night too.
The maid nodded resentfully and went to the backyard to call Minimus Hart.
Sophie Sullivan arrived at the equestrian center first. The servant feeding the horses stopped his work when he saw her coming. "Maniac, do you want to ride a horse?" he asked.
"Has Gabriel eaten his fill?"
"Gabriel has eaten enough. Don’t be fooled by the fact that he’s still eating; it’s because his appetite is particularly good today, and he has eaten a lot. However, to control his weight, he can’t eat any more after this."
The servant talked non-stop about Gabriel.
Sophie Sullivan stroked Gabriel’s neatly combed mane. "I’ll take him for a couple of laps later."
"Okay."
Gabriel raised his head and neighed. Sophie Sullivan took the reins handed over by the servant and led Gabriel out of the horse stable.
The all-white Gabriel looked like a tall, magnificent white horse, a true Prince Charming. Sophie Sullivan, walking beside him, appeared smaller and more delicate in comparison.
"Gabriel, it’s all up to you today," Sophie told him.
She stepped into the stirrup, swung herself onto the horse, then gripped the reins tightly and pulled. Gabriel instantly broke into a wild gallop.
On the equestrian center, Gabriel was undoubtedly the king.
He enjoyed the freedom of running, while Sophie Sullivan enjoyed the thrill of galloping even more.
Thomas Shannon’s beloved steed was truly extraordinary.
When Minimus Hart and the maid arrived at the equestrian center, they saw Sophie Sullivan riding Gabriel, galloping wildly around.
Seeing Minimus Hart, Sophie Sullivan tightened the reins and rode Gabriel over to her.
From her high vantage point on the horse, Sophie Sullivan looked down at Minimus Hart. Minimus Hart’s face was still bandaged with gauze, and blood was faintly seeping through.
"You were looking for ?"
With Thomas Shannon away, Minimus Hart dispensed with any formal address.
If she didn’t know that Sophie Sullivan was currently in favor, Minimus Hart wouldn’t have co.
She knew very well that not coming would give Sophie Sullivan an opening to exploit the situation and make trouble.
At that point, she would have no choice but to suffer in silence.
"Minimus Hart, I’ll give you one more chance. Were you behind what happened to Old Mr. Standford?" Sophie asked.
Minimus Hart scoffed. "The only skill you possess is wrongly accusing people."
Instead of anger, Sophie Sullivan laughed. "Wrong. You’ve forgotten I have another skill—seducing Thomas Shannon. That’s sothing you’ll never achieve in this lifeti, no matter how much you envy it."
Minimus Hart was infuriated by her words. Seducing? She isn’t ashad of it; she’s proud! Truly shaless!
"You. Yes, you," Sophie Sullivan said, pointing to the maid standing beside Minimus Hart.
The maid stamred, "M-?"
"Do you see the rope on the ground?"
The maid looked down and saw a bundle of rope at her feet. She nodded. "I see it."
"Tie up Minimus Hart’s hands for . Be quick about it."
The maid took a step back. "Maniac, this..."
"What, you don’t dare?" Sophie Sullivan’s eyes darkened. "You should understand what becoming my enemy now will an for you."
The maid shuddered as Sophie Sullivan’s cold gaze swept over her. The consequences of being her enemy would be miserable...
