His gaze shifted, landing on the closed bath chamber door.
Pushing open the bedroom door, he saw a woman curled up on the ground. Thomas Shannon’s eyes darkened, "Maniac?"
Sophie Sullivan appeared to be in pain, clutching her head with both hands, her body trembling uncontrollably.
She hadn’t even noticed when soone entered the bath chamber.
The world around her seed to vanish before her eyes.
Thomas Shannon bent down and reached out to lift her from the ground, but Sophie Sullivan suddenly opened her eyes. Her eyes were filled with hatred, "Why do you want to kill ?"
Kill? Had she gone mad? Did she not even recognize him?
A faint glimr of anger flashed in his eyes. Thomas Shannon furrowed his brows, seizing her by the arm, and harshly yanked her up from the ground.
Pulled up with a sudden force, Sophie Sullivan’s body collided uncontrollably into his strong embrace.
Her throbbing headache was sowhat alleviated.
She breathed heavily, cold sweat streaming down her forehead. Dazed, she blinked and said, "Young Master, why is it you?"
"If it’s not , who else would it be?" Thomas Shannon’s eyes were cold. "Stand on your own."
Sophie Sullivan tried to push away from his embrace and stand on her own, but without his support, her legs gave way. Just as she was about to fall, Thomas Shannon, quick-eyed, caught her.
"What’s going on?" At this point, Thomas Shannon finally realized her weakness was not an act.
Sophie Sullivan leaned her entire weight against him.
Her red lips slightly parted, she breathed lightly, as if she still hadn’t awakened from that nightmarish dream.
Under the light, the beauty appeared fragile, her body covered in sweat. Her alluring red lips slightly agape, revealing a hint of her shell teeth.
The light shone upon her long, curled eyelashes, casting a layer of pale gold. Her bewitching eyes were enveloped in a hazy water mist.
What a truly pitiable sight.
Thomas Shannon lowered his head, holding her cheek, their foreheads touching as he tested her temperature.
Fortunately, she didn’t have a fever.
Seeing her disoriented state, Thomas Shannon suppressed his own irritability and picked her up, laying her on the soft bed.
Looking up, Sophie Sullivan saw the man close to her.
For the first ti, she found him pleasant to look at.
Thomas Shannon, reeking of alcohol and cigarettes, stood straight, slowly beginning to unbutton his shirt.
"Tell , what just happened?"
Sophie Sullivan averted her eyes, her voice hoarse, "I had a nightmare."
"Sleepwalking into the bath chamber?"
Thomas Shannon coldly smirked, "That’s an interesting nightmare."
Sophie Sullivan weakly closed her eyes, "You can say whatever you want."
Throwing his shirt aside, Thomas Shannon looked at her, "Are you feeling better now?"
Sophie Sullivan, not understanding his intention, stared back at him.
"Co and scrub my back."
Leaving that phone, Thomas Shannon turned and entered the bath chamber.
Sophie Sullivan was dazed for a mont, then sneered. She had thought that he would show so kindness today, considering her special situation, and would let her off the hook. As it turns out, a beast remains a beast!

Thomas Shannon leaned against the edge of the bathtub, his cold eyes closed beneath his eyelids, resting.
Sophie Sullivan squatted by the bathtub, struggling to scrub his back.
"Haven’t you eaten? Is this all the strength you have?"
Sophie Sullivan: "..."
Clenching her teeth, she endured it!
After a while, Sophie Sullivan asked tentatively, "Young Master, are you asleep?"
"What’s the matter?"
"Can I go out for a while tomorrow?" She was imprisoned in the castle, with no freedom at all.
